Miramar Garden Hotel Taipei

"Very good value for money. Staff are friendly, facilities good. The only drawback is that the hotel is located near two elevated highways (but the windows are sound-tight). Otherwise, the location is good, the hotel is near the city centre and with good access to the metro, and not too far from the train station. " - Anonymous

"Hotel room is relatively new, modern, clean and spacious. Staff is very attentive, polite, helpful and provide excellent service. As the hotel was quite full on the day we checked in, the hotel staff upgraded us to the business floor. Apart from a kig sized bed, there is a computer which we can use for free. Computer is only available in the business rooms and rooms on the higher floors. However internet are provided free on the 3rd floor business centre. Rooms are also reasonably priced. There are sufficient and new equipment in the gym for a good workout. One section of the breakfast area overlooking a pleasant and lovely lanscaped garden. The only drawback of this hotel is the location. The surrounding area is not great and slightly further away from MRT, shops and eateries. It takes approximately 10-15 minutes walk to subway station. However taxis are readily available and cheap. We would rate it as a boutique 5 star hotel. " - Anonymous

"Good hotel with very friendly and helpful staff. Annoying that children under the age of 16, even if accompanied by a parent, are not allowed in the spa or gym - 12 years would have been a more reasonable age limit." - Karin Geen
