"The hotel is conveniently located on the main street, and I had a room which looked onto the backyard, so no noise whatsoever at night (except from the neighbouring room...). Good points: The room was large and clean, nicely furnished, comfortable bed and Freeview TV, with coffee making facilities. The staff were helpful and friendly. The breakfast was huge and included in the room price with very good choice. Bad points: I was on the top floor and there were numerous stairs to get to the room. Not ideal if you have luggage, but quite alright if you're travelling light. Secondly: there are serious problems with plumbing in the shower. The water would turn from icy cold to boiling hot in 30 seconds, with no possibility of adjusting the temperature. The thermostat is probably broken. Be careful not to get scalded.
All in all: not bad at all for a couple of nights, and highly recommended if you can get a fully-functioning shower and a quiet room at the back." - Anonymous
"The room I was allocated was tiny, cramped, and located next to the hotel facilities room, so I was woken twice during the night by machinery humming. I don't think the room in question is really fit to charge full rate for." - Simon Hindley
"Clean and friendly hotel, but no lifts!" - Ayoola Oyinloye
"Very central located. Average overall. No lifts." - Anonymous
