This old established hotel, recently extended and restructured, still has the warm atmosphere of a period villa. All the rooms open out onto the garden and provide maximum comfort thanks to their excellent position and the style of the furnishings.

Getting there:
By Car: -from Verbania Intra, follow directions for Premeno (12 km) - from Milano, take highway A8-A26 and exit in Baveno, then follow directions to Verbania and on to Premeno - from Locarno CH (40 km) take state road nr. 34 to Verbania and then follw directions to Premeno By train: - the nearest international railway stations are Stresa and Verbania (public transportation and taxis available).

Very pleasant staff and quiet location. Little in the immediate vicinity to see and do, and quite a drive from the lakeside. But a good location for a restful retreat....

We found this hotel very well priced. The young receptionest was lovely, the older ones not so frendly. We found that a lot of retired people go there for a break, so no night clubbing on site, great for family, and the town has a great park for kids to play just a short walk away.

Nice alternative near lake maggiore (about 20 mins by car). The hotel is located in a green village (really beautiful environment) and is normally preferred by older people seeking for a quiet place. Breakfast was basic, parking in front of the hotel is possible.

I enjoyed staying at Premeno very much....it is very restful hotel and village to stay in. .....just the antidote one needs after a hectic week . If you are looking for action then this is not the place for you.
