The Molina Lario is a new high quality four star hotel with the best location, in front of the Cathedral, in the historic, commercial and cultural center of Málaga, just a few metres away from the Port and the Picasso Museum. I stayed here one night prior to boarding a cruise ship. The hotel was lovely ... clean, spacious rooms with crisp bedding and comfortable mattresses. THe cruise ship was just a 5 minute cab ride and within walking distance of the hotel are myriad places to dine, shop, and sight see. The hotel easily gave me a late checkout, and staff were friendly and charming. I'd stay here again in a minute!
Room was fantastic, however at breakfast there was no where clean to sit and there was people waiting for items in the buffet to be topped up which was disapointing.

Very comfortable hotel in lovely location. Excellent breakfast buffet. Very reasonably priced room service food of good quality. Lovely pool area but area of beach below hotel could do with a clean up.

The people at the hotel are a credit to it, extremely helpful and always pleasant. Made the stay enjoyable. The facilities were brillant and it is right in the heart of the city so a great location, definitely will be back.

The concierge staff were exceedingly pleasant and helpful throughout our stay, recommending places to visit and travel options; how to obtain last minute theatre tickets; etc. The hotel is ideally located - near restaurants; cafes; Picasso museum and theatre are all within a short walking distance. Highly recommended.
Hotel was lovely. Great location just next to the cathedral so not far from the sights and shopping areas. We went on the roof terrace in the evening which has a pool and wonderful views over the city. Only slight grumble would be rather slow service in the bistro which was also a little over-formal. Would recommend.
