Getting there:From all directions take directions to Faro/airport. Once on the EN125-10 (airport road - dual carriage way) take exit signs (Montenegro/Universidade), on the flyover roundabout follow the exit towards Faro and sign "Hotel", descending from the roundabout, take the immediate right turn. Hotel is 100 meters away.

Very nice and helpful people in the reception. Quiet and clean room facilities and good breakfast. Good connections by local bus service to the town and to the beach. Very near to airport.
The hotel was modern,well-kept and reasonably priced. The location was not it's strongest point,being a few miles from Faro town centre,although the Hotel does have a courtesy bus in operation. Some enquiry is needed to ascertain it's running schedule,I had a car so this wasn't an issue for me personally. The centre of Montenegro,the suburb in which the Monaco Hotel is situated, is only a few minutes walk,and although small has most amenities you could reasonably need,.....Banks,Pharmacy,supermarket,Cafes and bars etc. The Hotel's only real failing was the menu,there only being snack options available. This apart,and let's be honest it's hardly a huge flaw,the Hotel represented good value for money and I had a pleasant stay. The staff were cheerful,helpful and courteous,the pool was clean and the grounds well-maintained.

the hotel staff were very friendly and helpful . hotel is in a nice quiet area a bit away from beach and places of interest but taxis are very cheap.
If you want a quiet peaceful, clean hotel close by to Faro Airport, this is the one. We have stayed twice now and it's a great stop off before you go back or when you first arrive. Just 2 minutes away from the Airport and close by to a few small bars and restaurants. Facilities inside are good, nice pool and the restaurant is reasonable. I'd stay again.
The hotel is very conveniently situated for getting to and from the airport. We stayed overnight. They had just completed a new floor and allocated us a room on the new floor. It was a beautiful room, very tastefully furnished and everything was new. Being on the top floor we had a lovely view over the rooftops of the suburb. The staff were friendly and very helpful in giving us directions and maps for our drive to Spain. We also enjoyed the buffet breakfast. This hotel looks even better in real life than in the brochure and I would have been happy to stay longer.
room allocated was very noisy due to building work and had to change to different part of hotel. would not want to stay there again.
The pool area was nice but small and silent. Not very well equipped for handicapped people.
A good short stay hotel, located mid way between airport & Faro centre. Room was clean but carpet had water stain and decor a bit tired. No sign of the hotel bus mentioned in some reviews, staff were friendly. Breakfast was ok for a short visit.
The rooms in this hotel are very small. We only stayed their because it is very close to the Faro airport. They have an airport shuttle and the staff is very helpful.

The free bus to airport is significant plus for travelers. Good standing for Faro visitors of late night arrival. Only several restaurants are found around the hotel.

We just needed a place to stay near the airport for one night, and Hotel Monaco met all of our expectations. Overall we were pleased with all aspects of the hotel.
