Montecarlo Hotel Granada

Good location in city, downside noisy at night. Room was clean, no shoes needed for shower, always a plus. Supermarket and internet within same block. Excellent for price for what you got.

very unhappy with hotel ,first night good, second night hotel full of school children running and screaming untill 2 o' clock , the porter was called and they stopped untill early morning. Exhausted we checked out and came home early ,very disappointed as it was a surprise trip for my mother who was 90, when the hotel was booked through yourselves all comments were unavailable to view, if we had seen the comments at the time we would have booked to go elsewhere .The hotel will never be recommended and we will not use your company again.

Hotel Montecarlo was an excellent choice. With reasonable priced clean accomodation, in a central location. I would recommend this budget hotel without reservation.

We wanted a descent hotel in the centre of Granada for a good price. I think we got what we expected, nothing more and nothing less. We arrived by car, managed to get to the hotel (using GPS) quite easily, found a good underground parking (17 euro/24 hours) not far away, placed our car there and walked most of the time. We loved the city, especially the Alhambra and the old part Albacin but remember to book your ticket for the Alhambra at www.alhambra-tickets.es in advance. Good bus connection from the city (Calle Reyes Catolicos and via Placa Nueva) to both Alhambra and Albacin (no 32 for connections).

Good cheapie with decent rooms. Breakfast is provided down the road at another hotel and so this needs to be considered if you are booking a room with breakfast.

The hotel is in need of considerable refurbishment particularly the bathrooms. Lack of double glazing makes it very noisy. Considering the above the price should be lower

Very central, very good service and friendly atmosphere. Recommend the night tour the hotel can arrange to the Albaycin area..

Good basic place. All of the Granada touristic action takes place in Nueva Plaza and the hotel is located at the end of downtown, perhaps the reason for better rate. It took some time for the hot water to warm up in the shower; however, for a hot day, it is rather refreshing. Close to the airport bus stops and all of the eateries. I would recommend this hotel and would stay again.

Excellent location, very basic. Smelly bathroom. Need to keep the door closed. Don't expect anything.

This hotel is acceptable for the price, but is destined to be much better as they are carrying out renovations to the rooms, which are presently a little old and worn.

Great location for a night in Granada. The room was very basic and dated and there wasn't an Iron or hair dryer!

I was given an unmade twin room with a broken toilet seat when I first arrived but after complaining I was moved to a much nicer double. Good location near the shopping area and only a 5-10 minute walk up to Plaza Nueva.

I enjoyed my stay and the staff were very helpful.

Quite a lot of noise from the street, despite the hotel advertising rooms being "soundproof". But otherwise OK.

Very centrally located and easy to find; indoor parking was also easy to find adjacent to the hotel.
