The Monterrey Hotel is located in the heart of the city, in the commercial and monumental area; with only three minutes walking distance to the Plaza mayor and the main monuments of Salamanca.
The hotel was inaugurated in 1954 and it has been renewed in 2005.
The Monterrey is considered as a monument in the city, thanks to its elegant and majesty neoclassical- renaissance façade.

By train: Daily services from Madrid to Salamanca leaving from Chamartin station. The journey takes 2.5 hours. The city is also connected with Avila, Barcelona, Burgos, Bilbao, Logroño, San Sebastián, Tarragona, Valladolid, Vitoria and Zaragoza.
