Montien Hotel Bangkok

We have stayed at the Montien Hotel Bangkok on 4 occasions mainly due to it's great location close to shopping, bars, restaurants, markets etc. The service is great also, and the rooms and bathrooms are neat and clean (however a little dated). Can recommend this hotel to other travellers considering staying here.

Great hotel thoroughly enjoyed every thing about our stay

Stayed in Montien on Sept 26, 08 for one night short stop over. Hotel location is their best offer depend on what you want to see. Just opposite Patpong street and 5 min walk to sky train station Room is a bit old and need renovation, however, you can get whatever food and entertainment you want within walking distance due to hotel superb location. One dissapointment, breakfast was not included in room rate.

I have enjoyed staying at the Montien many times. At times a bit pricey however often they have good discount deals. Food is excellent as is service and late checkouts are available.

Excellent hotel thoroughly recommend!

I had stayed at the Montien many times previously although the last time was some years ago and it was good to see familiar faces still among the present Staff and to be recognised by them, always a good sign of their attitude and commitment to service the needs of the Guest. The Montien Hotel rates good value for money and is ideally located to the major retail department stores, MRT and sky train stations as well as the major Airline Offices. I would have no problems recommending this Hotel to others.

HOTEL WAS IN GOOD LOCATION. STAFF FRIENDLY ENOUGH, HOWEVER THEY TENDED TO BE A LITTLE INPERSONAL AS WAS A VERY LARGE HOTEL. I WOULD STAY THERE AGAIN HOWEVER. BREAKFAST WAS GREAT, GOOD SELECTION TO CHOOSE FROM.

Excellent location right on Patpong Markets, breakfast/cafe excellent food and service. Access to skytrain, taxis, tuk-tuk is great. Staff very helpful. Quiet and relaxing pool area, hotel is generally old style and not too big to be friendly.

Excellent hotel, with a great location for shopping in Bangkok. The staff could not do enough for you and despite the hotel being so large, the doormen still remembered your name and where you were from. This is the friendliest hotel I have ever stayed at.

Excellent location. I would recommend this hotel to anyone wanting to have a very nice hotel close to where all the action is.

While not our hotel of first choice - we prefer hotels in Bangkok in the Sukhumvit-Ploenchit area - it was quite good, except it had no broadband facilities and I got a slight case of the "runs" from eating seafood in the hotel restaurant. The buffet breakfast is very good but otherwise the food is not outstanding but in this area there's lot of other easonable restaurants so why eat at the hotel. My wife liked the hotel more than I did and we would stay there again.…
