"I first stayed at the Montien Pattaya 20 years ago for six weeks. It was an excellent 4 star hotel then and the same now. I have stayed there a dozen times since then. They have gotten a bit pricey lately and you will want to avoid Christmas Eve and New Years Eve because of predatory "Gala Dinner Party" mandatory charges." - Anonymous

"This is a clean, comfortable hotel. Rooms are big and spacious beds. Location is good and within reach to Pattaya centre. Wireless internet is convenient and cheap at the lobby for those who would like to bring their laptop with them. The only negative issue was that I had been asked to leave a deposit of Baht5700 when checking in and was later debited to my account. However, the issue has been settled after Montien Pattaya secured me that this was a genuine mistake and reimbursed me back the funds. Would recommend this hotel and would stay there once again....Thanks J. Malta" - Anonymous
