Montien Riverside Hotel, Bangkok, is a speious city resort hotel located on the bank of Chao Phraya River. It is accessible by the expressway with travel of 45 minutes to/from Suvarnabhumi Airport and 10 minutes to Bangkok's entertainment and major shopping areas by complimentary shuttle service. All the hotel's 462 luxuriously appointed rooms and suites command panoramic river views. All guests' bathrooms have separate shower and bath tub. Getting there:1. Exit SATHU PRADIT Expressway then go straight and turn right at RAMA 3 ROAD, the hotel is 1 km. away on the left habdside. 2. Exit CHAN ROAD into Nua-Tai Road then go straight and turn right at RAMA 3 ROAD, stay on the left lane to turn left into the hotel. If you miss CHAN ROAD you must exit BANG KHLO EXIT, turn right at Rama 3 Road, the hotel is 1 km. away on the left handside.
Check-in Procedure:The Hotel’s official check-in time is 14.00 hours on the day of arrival. We will make every effort to accommodate arrivals prior to check in time. Should you prefer to ensure all guestrooms are ready prior to guests early arrival, may we suggest that rooms are reserved for one day before the arrival. The room charge will be based on daily group room rates. Early arrivals of VIPs should be advised to hotel for separate arrangements. Our check-out time is 12.00 hours on the day of departure.
Car parking:Free of charge which can parking up to 400 cars.
Child Policy:There is no room charge for one child 12 years or under, when sharing accommodation with 2 paying adults and using existing beds.
Brilliant Thai service which would put Western establishments to shame. Staff wore traditional Thai costumes and together with the marble atrium gave an incredible first image. Nothing was too much trouble. Room was huge as was the bathroom and had a view right down the river. A little way from the action but if you can tie in with the hotel shuttle to the rail station it works OK. Only real drawback is that there are no restaurants in the immediate vicinity other than the hotel's. Recommend
An excellent facility and a most beautiful 5-star hotel. Staff are just wonderful and the food is very good. Breakfast inclusion was a real bonus.
This hotel is superb. Our room on level 18 overlooked the Chao Praya River and the beds were huge and comfortable. Compliment-ary bottled water was in the room. There is a fantastic Thai restauarant nearby on the river in addition to the many in house restaurants. The buffet breakfast had everything. While the hotel is "out of town" there is a hourly courtesy shuttle bus to downtown Bangkok. A late check-out - 2.00pm - was great with our flight departure at midnight. We were able to store our luggage for the afternoon while we used the shuttle bus into town. On our return we were able to shower in the gym area despite having checked out earlier. This is 5 star luxury at an amazing price.
This hotel is far away from everything, eaven far from 7-11. Nice wiev, but that's all.

An excellent hotel with very good facilities and charming and efficient staff. Good restaurants and food as well.
The hotel was nice and clean but for us too far from the main drag so we had to take taxis everywhere. The room service menu was good - especially the chicken maussaman, if your like curries - try it ..delicious!

The hotel was lovely, the breakfast buffet exquisite but the location was a bit difficult. While it was a lovely, quiet, out of the way spot, it was also relatively expensive to get to by taxi, when one could find a taxi willing to take one there at all! The hotel has a lovely 'olde world' charm. The pool was not as nice as at other hotels in Bangkok.
A beautiful hotel with excellent service and food. I would definately go back!
