Getting there:From the Munich Airport you catch the S-Bahn line S8 This line will bring you directly to Munich Central Station ( Hauptbahnhof München ). Then follow the instructions below. The Montree Hotel München is situated only one stop away from the central station. The Underground line U1 towards Olympia Einkaufszentrum takes you to Stiglmaierplatz where you will find Montree Hotel München. As an alternative you may take the tramway 20/21 from the Hauptbahnhof München towards Pelkovenstrasse to Sandstrasse. The Montree Hotel is about 40 m away from the stop.

The Hotel is very centrally located with the tram stop just across the street. Connection to the rest of the transport system is very good with the Central Train station only 4 stops away. Attractions are quite within ease of reach. Overall my stay was enjoyable.

Get what you paid for, the hotel was adequate. Staff were very helpful and pleasent.
Good location, possible to walk most places but it is really dingy. It is fine if you just need a place to crash at night but you would not spend any other time there. The beds are very clean but the carpets and walls are very grubby. It rerminded me of the cheaps hotels that are common in South America but are not usually found in in Europe. On the other hand the staff are friendly and it is cheap.
The rooms are tiny! And the bathroom is even tinier! The walls are paper thin and you can hear whether or not the people next to you have left the TV on all night. On the positive note, the location is excellent! The tram stop is just outside the hotel. There is a laundry matt just around the corner that I would definitely recommend. The breakfast was adequate but there is a deadly silence as you walk into the breakfast area. You get free WIFI which is the biggest plus and the room is always clean. The shower is a bit odd and you have to make sure you don't flood the bathroom.
20mins walk far for the city center, very good location and prices. Looks very old, not well kept though clean. That's ok for few nights considering the location and good prices.
A very small room even for one person (although described as a "double" by the desk clerk!), but it and the included bath were well maintained and clean. An excellent value for price.
