Montrose Hotel Dublin

This is our second time to stay at the Montrose and we find it to be comfortable enough for the price we paid. The staff are friendly and the breakfast is good - eat as much as you like, they don't mind you going back for more.

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay at The Montrose. We will be using this hotel again. The city centre is only 5 minutes away on the buses, which run every 7 minutes. Left the car in hotel and enjoyed a drink in town. Lovely rooms and excellent breakfast. We recommend this hotel highly.

Very clean and a 15 minute bus ride to the centre of town. Staff were great and a cooked breakfast from the buffet

Rooms very nice & good size for star rating. Beds comfortable. I was on a special rate at a conference so the price was exceptional for the quality and location (near University College Dublin). Standard rate would represent an average/good rating. The best feature about the hotel was the staff who were simply wonderful. Refreshing to have a good complement of Irish employees with a wry sense of humour and extremely helpful without any of the saccharine "have a nice day" stuff!.

Good value hotel, very friendly staff, would rate as being 3 star, visitors should note the hotel is approx 25 mins from city centre by bus and traffic at peak times is very heavy.

I ticked non-smoking on the booking form, but there was an ashtray in the room and it smelt strongly of smoke. The breakfast was very good, but it is exactly the same choices every day, so gets a bit boring if staying a few days.

This is an excellent hotel very clean and comfortable. The meals we had there were very good. The staff was very friendly and helpful but the hotel was to far from the city centre.

The breakfast was served till 10:30am each day, so it was great if you wanted a long lie. This hotel is good. It is worth staying in. The main bus routes into/from Dublin and the airport operate from outside the hotel or nearby within a few minutes walk, so its easy to get to/from by bus.

Altogether a very enjoyable stay.

Room, Lobby, Restaurant, Lounge, Corridors are all very clean and well maintained, facilities are excellent and comfortable. Staff are highly trained, courteous and professional. Location is excellent with easy access to the City.

Very courteous staff. Great service. A little outside the city center, but good location nonetheless. I was very satisified with my time there.

Good hotel with a very nice bar/restaurant and very good service.
