Very beautiful setting and friendly home like atmosphere. Some good restaurants and cafes near by. Neat and clean, will stay there again.

We really enjoyed staying in Mooltan House. It's close to new bathhouse and mineral springs. This may be a comfortable stay for those who like old style stuff (buildings, furniture, crockery etc). I felt as if I spent a couple of nights in a museum. It was a very interesting experience for us.
Mooltan has a low fuss, relaxed atmosphere. The lounge room is very cosy in front of a roaring fire. The breakfast is generous. Staff were very friendly.
A Basic but good place to stay.My husband and I were welcomed warmly and made to feel at home. The breakfast was excellent. I would recommend the place.

Having breakfast with a Kookaburra a metre away will be a special memory for me.
It was very noisy with children running up and down the corridor until 9pm and then from 7am.Not very relaxing. Didn't like sharing the bathroom.
The staff were very friendly and accomodating. Room was clean and location close to spas / facilities & easy to get to. Only negative is that the car park is not that well lit at night. Also noticed the adjoinig property is quite a bit lower [so perhaps the fence between properties should be more stable / secure]
Private balcony was a shared one. Facilities not all as described ie no CD or refrigerator for Superior room, Coffee making facilities external to the room. TV controls (remote) missing. Perhaps a make-over would spruce things up and take away the tired look.
