" Our experience was pleasant because of the other guests. The hotel is very tired. We were not informed that the hotel was under renovations and that we would be woken by workmen banging downstairs. The twin rooms are greatly over priced due to the size and the lack of space for two people to sit or unpack a case. The double plus single bed is more suitable for two people. The hotel is not a hotel but a hostel really and a very tired one at that. The cleaners scattered linen over the narrow hallway and gave the impression that it was time to leave. The open fires are lovely and the bed was clean. " - Anonymous
"place is in need of an upgrade. many things left unfinished.!!!!!!!!!!" - Clive &carmel dettman
"We really enjoyed staying in Mooltan House. It's close to new bathhouse and mineral springs. This may be a comfortable stay for those who like old style stuff (buildings, furniture, crockery etc). I felt as if I spent a couple of nights in a museum. It was a very interesting experience for us. " - Anna Bashkirova
"Mooltan has a low fuss, relaxed atmosphere. The lounge room is very cosy in front of a roaring fire. The breakfast is generous. Staff were very friendly." - Bernie Lovegrove
