Moorings Hotel is Port Vila's newest boutique accommodation located on the harbour front with stunning views over the Fatumaru bay, Port Vila. We are only a 5 minute walk into the centre of town for a large variety of shops and markets. All rooms feature ensuite facilities & balconies. We have three different room types, Harbourside Queen, Semi self contained units & Standard Queen rooms, all are air-conditioned, with TV, fridge, tea/coffee making facilities. Relax on either of our two sundecks, in our 'infinity' pool, or at the lively pool bar. Moos Bar & Grill is open daily from 7am serving breakfast, lunch, dinner. Live music plays on Friday and Saturday nights. We also have high speed internet facilities, flat screen TV for the sport fans. Nearby is the Rumours resort based nightclub which is open until late.

Getting there:Catch a taxi to Moorings Hotel from the airport for approx 1200 Vatu (AU$15) or a local bus for 150 Vatu.
Check-in Procedure:Our reception is open daily from 7am until approximately midnight. We will stay to meet any late flights if advised in advance. PLEASE PRINT AND PRESENT VOUCHER AT CHECK IN.
Car parking:We have a small parking lot directly in front of the hotel.

Did not have hot hot water for a shower in the mornings
The room was ok, but close to the main road!! No coathangers, so we had to use a bunk bed that came with the room. Pool very well kept, not impressed we did not get continental breakfast, however I believe this will be included in future, A YOUNG PERSON's HOTEL! noisy in the evenings, and during major sports games. However, it is handy to many things so you cannot have it all ways. Staff were friendly, however untidy when cleaning the rooms, this is a management fault, provide staff with proper cleaning trolly , on both floors, things left around all day are unsightly and a hazzard. Aircon and fan worked well. another chair in the room would have been great.
Harbourside Queen rooms are ensuite, with AC & fan, tea & coffee facilities, Phone, TV and a Split Queen bed. Max 2 guests.

Semi Self Contained rooms have ensuite, AC andwith fan, fridge, kettle,microwave oven,toaster,TV Bedding configuration is split king plus divan or single set of bunks
The restaurant was excellent, best food we had in Port Vila. You can even dine looking over the bay with tables set out of the main restaurant bit. Rooms were a little bit small and close to one another but they were very clean. It's a long walk into the centre of town and we caught a bus most of the time. Recommended.
The rooms are nicely located with a good view over the lagoon. Staff were extremely helpful. The only faults were my room flooded in heavy rain; the room was small and only had sufficient hanging space for somebody travelling very lightly.
