I will give you just a hint because we booked a master room such as the hotel shown on this site. On arrival the room is absolutely not as the picture and we were right to insist, as it exists, but not many dare to moan, THEN do not hesitate.
You can't beat a decent hotel (rooms were small but who's spending much time in the hotel anyway?) a block from the Termini rail station and within walking distance of the Colosseum, Trevi Fountain, the Spanish Steps and any number of museums, shops and restaurants.
A fabulous hotel in the heart of the termini area, just a little gem. Breakfast superb, kind and helpful staff with a free early evening tapas buffet if you bought a drink at the bar. would highly recommend its authentic Italian atmospher.
Nice hotel and friendly employees. I have usually more than 30 nights in Rome each year and I have stayed at Morgana several times. This time I was invited to stay in their annex. It was a coupel of blocks away, and the neigborhood was not as nice. I needed to use porter service to get in and I had to go out to get the breakfast. The room was also small - but this is ordinary at Morgana. Morgana is an ok hotel if you get ok prices, but in the future I will not stay in their annex.
Rooms are small, but a nice breakfastroom
Beautifully decorated and well appointed room but with very little space to move around in. Great location in relation to train station and good buffet breakfast.
Room and toilet are a bit cramp for the charges
Windows open to a untidy backyard. No view. Gloomy. Showers and toilet facilities are meagre.
This hotel has compared to comparable hotels in its neighborhood a very nice breakfastroom and a good breakfast. It is one of my favorite hotels in Rome.
There is no other way to put this...it is quite good hotel. We stayed for a week. The location is near the railway station, thus, convenient. It's 20 minutes to Colosseum, thus, walkable. Hotel staff is friendly...NOT. Especially the receptionist Stefano. We found him to be very aloof and disorganised. We complained about our room being small with a crazy hot radiator and window barricaded by an outside wall. We had to ask another guy the next day to get the room changed. Be aware, there is no air conditioning and no bathroom ventilation. We found the lift very cosy as it is so small that three people are touching...All in all, this is probably the greatest maze ever built, so allow 5 minutes just to get to reception from your room.
Really nice room, clean and cosy, but both room and bathroom are rather small. Italian elegance all over it, LCD TV, elegant bathroom. However, singles (my room was 313) do have a catch: the bed is situated in a niche, and one wall of that niche is leaning on the elevator wall. The whole room was moving together with elevator. If you need to crash there for one night, between the flights it is OK, but not for long stays as you can't count on a good night sleep.
Hotel recommandable.
Very cosy hotel with clean spacious room/bathroom. Breakfast: eating area was too small to sit all guests at one time.
Very friendly staff.
Quite a grand, fairly big hotel, with comfortable lounge and good size rooms, well located for visiting central Rome.
Super hotel!
Hotel staff excellent. Good breakfast. I would stay in the hotel again.
Thanks to Marco and the team, really enjoyed it there!
Got value for money.
