The carpets in the room had been freshly steam cleaned but the room was left closed up and the smell of wet carpet was unbearable. Very Dissapointed in the room as I slept with the windows wide open to allow ventilation from the smell. All other facilities for the hotel were great.
Very comfortable, quiet and loved having free wireless broadband.

On the whole, the stay is comfy and reasonable for the price range. Great location. Daily room cleaning service is great and efficient. Front desk service needs improvement. The hotel says there is Foxtel TV but there is only standard network TV and only Channel 7 and SBS works!!! Wireless Internet (free) is extremely disappointing and needs improvement. It keeps falling out of service and very slow.
Booked at short notice. Staff were very helpful. Free wifi internet available in room which was a real bonus!! Little tired looking but adequate facilities. Right in the heart of Sydney and surrounded by eateries. Would definitely stay again.
My bad luck to be there on Grand Final night and needing to sleep when the rest of Sydney didn't. Next night was much better. This is essentially an unserviced apartment, you need to look after yourself, but there is every facility within walking distance. The building is 30s, and it doesn't look as though it has had much R and R since then, for the price, it could be tidied, eg. clean the sofa, wash the windows. However, I'll go back there - but only during the week.
Really comfortable bed and great pillows. Location is fantastic. When queried by phone prior to booking, staff had been non-specific regarding what Foxtel channels they had available - turns out they only have news and sport.
Great roof top views of Opera House and Harbour Bridge. Surprising find.
We had a wonderful stay at Morgans the only disappointment was there was no milk supplied in the fridge so we could make a cuppa in the morning.
For the price of $175.00 a night for a one bedroom apt, we were expecting something a lot more flash. The advertisemnts boasted a boutique hotel but the only thing boutique about it was the front foyer and the fact that it was small-really small. The advertised balcony was the size of a postage stamp and it offered views of an awning scattered with refuse and a rotting discarded sign. We had to ask for a hand towel only to be told that they do not supply a hand towel. The kitchenette did not have adequate cutlery or much equipment at all for that matter. The whole apt appeared old and tired. The best thing about it was its close proximity to King's Cross and its subway station and to the Darlinghurst precinct.
Lots of cracked tiles in kitchenette and bathroom, incredibly noisy as on main road and opposite 2 nightclubs and a restaurant. No hand towels
A great location. The roof-top deck has views of the city, including the opera house and the bridge. If you're a light sleeper, request a room on the back. All in all, a great place to stay.
Morgans of Sydney was just taken over by new owners, and i must say that i was impressed. I visited the hotel prior to staying, just to have a look and make certain requests. I was taken on a tour by the lovely management and my request's were taken care of straight away. I wish the new management all the best and thank them for my stay.
Great location and good value.
This hotel is in a great location, is comfortable and was nicely priced. It is in a one-way street. Good views of Sydney from the top deck. Plenty of eating places in the same street and a Coles supermarket 2 minutes away by foot. Dropping off luggage could be a problem in busy periods as there is only one small parking spot in front of the hotel, but with a little patience this is no drama.

A good location with very helpful and pleasant people on the desk. The bedroom is a good size but the bathroom and living area were very small indeed and the kitchen is inadeqately equipped,
An extremely good lower cost option in the middle of darlinghurst. Close to many cafe's and restaurants and easy reach to the Oxford Street strip.
This is a great location - close to all public transport and lovely walk to the city. Great cafes and restaurants all within walking distance. Lovely staff and very affordable - good security and well appointed rooms with plenty of space.
