"If you're here for sightseeing, this is great. If you're here for business and have to (god forbid) do some work in the room, slightly less so. The room, especially the ones on the ground floor that I got, is a bit dark, and doesn't have a proper work desk. It's a converted mansion, which gives the place a nice atmosphere, but some of the facilities are rather cramped. But it's a nice hotel, and if you want something other than the large chain hotels, it's good." - hiroo yamagata

Getting there: Driving from the North via Route 395:
Take exit 22-B, Baltimore Washington Parkway (Route 295) to Washington, follow signs to New York Avenue. Proceed about 5 miles to New York Ave. New York Ave will turn into Massachusetts Ave at around 9th St, NW. Continue on Massachusetts Ave to 11th St. Make a right onto 11th Street, the Morrison Clark is on the right at the corner of 11th and L. St.

From the South Via Route 395:
Go North on 395 toward Washington. As you cross the 14th St. Bridge, stay in the left lane and follow signs for 14th St. Take the 14th St to K Street, turn right onto K St. At 11th Street turn left. Proceed 3 blocks and cross Massachusetts Ave. The Morrison Clark Inn will be on your right, at the corner of 11th and L. St, NW.
