Box Hill hospital is within walking distance, and a silver service restaurant next door and numerous eateries and takeaways not far away, all make motel Maroondah an ideal place to stay in Melbourne.

Great value for money - very friendly manager - plenty of free off-street parking - meets all your needs (remember you are not paying for luxury) - I would definately stay there again if I needed to be in that side of Melbourne - manager access 24/7 by phone

There is nothing outstanding about this motel. It was clean and comfortable and convenient to Box Hill and public transport.
Room was in need of a makeover.
Peter, the manager, was happy to make a last minute change so that we were at ground floor level rather than upstairs. We were out during the day, so we had little contact with the staff, but we always came home to a neat and tidy room. The trams in Whitehorse Road can be a little noisy, but not enough to keep us awake. We have stayed here before and what the motel offers (especially in convenience) is more than adequate.
The Manager was very polite, extremely helpful and considerate.
