Nice old fashioned hotel with an English country house feel. We had a valley view room which was huge with great views. Ate one night in the restaurant and the food and service was very good. Easy walk into Katoomba main street.
Stunning location set overlooking the valley. Heritage hotel with some history. Restaurant very, very good - certainly one of the best I have come across for a long time.
Probably the best value and most acceptable hotel in Katoomba.
We enjoyed our short stay of 2 nights at the Mountain Heritage Blue Mountains. It is a touch of old world charm and service. The Sunday roast meal is very good and recommended. The room was lovely and the bathroom absolutely wonderful. It is close to the town centre and the local attractions. Would stay there again.
Good hotel for its age and has great views. Restaurant was excellent and food matched our expectations. The staff were very friendly and efficient.
good basic hotel close to Leura and Katoomba....
Staff - extremely helpful. Location - fantastic views onto the mountians. We didn't have a good view from our room, but restaurant, lounge and common balconies have great views. Fair enough, not all the rooms can face in the direction of the great views. Room fittings are very old, the hotel is kept very clean, but needs a makeover.
It was a pleasant stay. The breakfast was great each morning. A surprise was a pool. That was great to use in the hot weather! It was close to town.
Pricey, but worth it. Lovely rooms, super people, good food and wine, and such wonderful views. Swimming pool, gym, spa - all the extras. Good restaurant, but just three or four minutes' walk from town which offers many cafes and restaurants (licensed or BYO), including Italian, Greek, Thai, Mexican and Roo Burgers. The hotel itself is very nice and the people staff are constantly helpful. Only two real drawbacks: cheesy music played in a continuous loop in the public areas, and no night staff. Well, that and the price. It's pretty dear during the week but worth it; the extra hundred dollars at weekend is a bit of a rip-off (though they do turn off the cheesy music and have a pianist).
Beautiful atmosphere - good size rooms but well-decorated to create a cosy, romantic setting.
Beautiful views, quiet romantic retreat.
Queen bedding was made up of a queen base and two singles for the top padding
This hotel is on the edge of town and has a warm and and welcoming staff . The uninterrupted view from the dining room over the Blue Mountain range is stunning . The food is also excellent
Lovely historical building,very comfortable.
It was a very beautiful room and we enjoyed staying there.
Top place.
Excellent service. Dining room quality is first class.
The Mountain Heritage is absolutely beautiful in all of the common areas. Our room was the basic one which was spacious and clean but nothing fancy the bathroom hadn't been updated for a while. Breakfast was great, the fire places and lounge areas lovely and the view perfect. Would definitely stay here again.
