Situated in Ohakune, 5 minutes from the base of Mt Ruapehu which boasts the Turoa Ski Resort and the Tongariro National Park. 18 self contained motel units serviced daily. Mountain transport pick up is available on request. There are many restaurants and cafes only a short walk from the motel. Relax in the spa after a hard day's skiing/snowboarding. Take advantage of our drying room for wet clothing and boots.
The ski fields at Turoa (above Ohakune) and Whakapapa (to the north of Ohakune) have recently combined into one Ski Resort that enables you to ski both fields using a single ski pass.
In the summer season, daily trips can be made to the top of Mt Ruapehu to see the world famous Crater Lake.
Other nearby summer attractions include tramping, the Tongariro Crossing, mountain biking trails, kayaking trips down the Whanganui River, horse treks, 4WD tours, golf, and scenic flights.
