Mozart Hotel Salzburg

No airconditioning made the room most uncomfortable as temperatures were well above average. As hotel is on a busy street corner you couldn't sleep with the windows open. We were supplied with an electric fan which helped only marginally. Continental breakfast was very good.

The staff were very friendly and helpful. We had a late night train to catch on Oct 20 so while we had checked out earlier in the day, the staff let us wait at in the living room and even turned on the TV for us to watch when we returned for our bags and still had time to spare!

Loved the quiet quirkiness and clean and neatness of the hote; Great breakfast and really friendly service. A pleasant walk to both the old town and Mirabel Gardens.

Extremely courteous staff and good location. The bathroom in the room was fairly out of date, but this did not detract from the whole experience

Hotel was very well maintained. Staff were excellent with service and assistance re tours, restaurants recommendations and arranging taxies etc. Thanks for a lovely stay.

Very clean and friendly place. Disappointed with the facilities in the room No tea or coffee making facilities. Found the star rating of the hotel misleading. Didn't find it value for money.

The service and cleanliness were second to none but the facilites were none existent. No bar, no hot drink facilitey in the rooms and no pay per view TV in the rooms. For a 4 star hotel I expected 4 Star facilities.

Very friendly staff, excellent location 1 minute from main shopping street and 10 minutes to the old town.

Salzburg is a truly beautiful city to visit but our stay at the Mozart Hotel made the holiday even more special. The staff were, without exception, polite and friendly and could not have been more helpful, which made us feel as if they were really delighted to see us. The excellent buffet breakfast was a great start to each day. We cannnot wait to go back.

This hotel needs airco and politeness. No goodbye when you check out.The telephone is more important. The breakfast is perfect.

Reception staff where always very helpful, ie, booking and recommending tours for us. We had what appeared to be an updated suite, including a couch (highly unusual for european hotels). Plus it had a stocked mini bar. Bathroom was spotless. Breakfast - sufficient for our needs which also included fresh whole fruit. Chocolates on the pillows were a nice touch.

There is no air-conditioning and the window only opened slightly for the first 2 nights it was very hot in the room. We made this known and the window was opened properly. A great location outside the old city and good resturants nearby. Apart from the above a great place to stay.

the service was exceptional, staff happy to help with any situation. The breakfast was classic silver service with a great selection of cheesesand other condiments. The room itself was well appointed with room to move. The location is 5 minutes walk to old town.

I would definitely recommend this Hotel to anyone looking for excellent service and High standard of accomodation. I hope to stay there again next time I am in Salzburg

One of the few hotels that you would actually consider staying in again. Great beds which both my partner and I slept like logs in..(not too hard or soft). Pretty central location, though exceptionally quiet. Breakfast till 10.30 and lovely decor and furnishings. Great!

Basic Hotel within easy walking distance from town centre.Staff could not have been more helpful. Rooms spacious and clean and very quiet at night. Beds comfortable.Breakfast EXCELLENT. No facilities though for drinks or food apart from Breakfast. Maybe a machine to dispense drinks would be helpful. However, would thoroughly recommend this Hotel and hope to visit again.

It was a very quiet time when we arrived so we got our room at 9:00am and had one of the better rooms in the hotel. Nice touch having small chocolates on the bed when we got in the room. If you have the windows open there is a lot of noise in the morning rush hour which starts around 6:30. Staff very helpfull. The hotel is about five minutes from the main attractions, also the number 2 bus pulls in just a few metres down the road from the hotel if you are coming from the airport. I would score this hotel as an 8 out of 10. Nice cold breakfast in the morning also.

Slightly older style but spacious and comfortable.
