Location great but accessibility a bit difficult with no direct road access. No 'fridge in room. Breakfast comprised the cheapest imaginable fare, and very limited range at that. Rooms very basic.
A small hotel placed very central in Sevilla. No restaurant. Standard ok
The roof terrace and the location are a big plus for this hotel.
very pleasant location just minutes from the best part of the city and outstanding nice tapas restaurant just opposite the front door
Great location, friendly and very helpful staff. very clean and gorgeous hotel. very well priced, would def go back again
Bedroom Very small . Our bedroom was next to to the hotel lift - found it hard to sleep due to noise from llift
this place was really good and i recommend it
The hotel is at good location. Apart from the small size of the room which can just accommodate your luggage and two persons, the hotel is still good.
Although We spend a lot of time finding this hotel on the first day when we check in, we found it's a very good location to visit the Cathedral and Real Alcazar after we are getting more familiar with the Santa Cruz area. The Breakfast is very good! When we check out they are very kind helping us delivery our laggage to the bus station. I book one night and keep on staying two more nights in Murillo
This hotel was an excellent choice. Located just in front of the Terminal Bus Station, in the Barrio Santa Cruz, this hotel offers a good service, very spacious room and bathroom, lovely breakfast, and all the facilities to desire to return there in the next holidays at Seville. Just note that the Barrio Santa Cruz is made by small streets, and you can not arrive at the hotel by car.
The location was good, in the center of the city. You can walk to everywhere from the hotel. However, I would not recommend this hotel to lone women travellers as you would need to take many small alleys before you reach the hotel. The room isn't the cleanest or the most comfortable but it was alright I suppose.
Excellent old quarter location. Extremley clean hotel with pleasant staff. Walls are a bit thin for a good nights sleep, but there is something going wrong if you are not making the best of Sevilles lively night life!
Only stayed for one night this visit but we plan to go back to Seville and we will be staying in The Murillo again, could not fault this hotel and the location was just perfect.
A lovely hotel in a great central location, with very friendly staff. Very adeqate cold buffet breakfast. It's not the easiest hotel to find, located down a narrow street; a taxi would be able to get within 50 m. However, once located, it is a most pleasant place to stay and I would wholeheartedly recommend it. The hotel doesn't have many facilities; however the accommodation, cleanliness and service are far superior to the 2 star rating that the hotel has. Seville is a wonderful city, and the hotel Murillo is a welcoming and comfortable place to stay. One thing to bear in mind, is that the street outside the hotel can be quite noisy between midnight and 2 am - due to rubbish collection!! In October, this was really only a minor inconvenience - but in the summer, when people are still eating and socialising in the street until the cooler early hours, I would definitely recommend that you request a room at the REAR of the hotel.
Location is good for sightseeing. However you HAVE to carry/pull your bags at least 150 yards/metres as it is in the old quarter and the taxi cannot reach the hotel. For some reason that I do not understand, it is possible to get the hotel to order a taxi to the airport, but not to the railway station. This means that you will have to take your luggage to the main road (it is flat terrain) which is about 500 yards away. Like most Spanish hotels, it did not have tissues or a bedside clock.
The Location of the Hotel is excellent, in the Barrio Santa Cruz. We got a very little room between between the elevator and the cleaning chamber so it was very noisy all over the day (and night). I think it was simply because we had payed our room in advance, there are a lot of better rooms. The breakfast is O.K., but the tables and the chairs are tiny, waggly and like garden furniture.
This hotel was excellent value and was very central I would definitely recommend it. The room allocated to us was next to the lift and after a very noisy sleepless night we requested a move which the staff were very happy to do so we were very pleased that we did ask to be moved.
a beautiful hotel in a great location , rooms are alittle on the small side but very clean ,great breakfast great little restuarant right across the hotel .the hotel is very hard to find especially if you are driving there. we had a map the hotel emailed us ,to park our car which is a public car park for 17euro a day very expensive and that was hard to find, you can park around the park lands for free close to the hotel but you have to find it first. good luck i will definatly stay at this hotel again .get a map of how to get there.seville is beautiful
Hotel conveniently situated and rooms although small are comfortable. However you may get some noise from the porters who seem to be constantly bringing things over the cobbles to the hotel which at 2am and later is not appreciated. The noise carries up to the bedrooms from the narrow streets below. Great little Tapas bar opposite and good restaurants all around. Characterful restoration work in keeping with the local architecture creates good ambiance and pleasant space but again little regard for sound insulation.
The lobby of the hotel is impressive for a 2 star hotel and the terrace has amazing views of the Giralda. Try and avoid any of the ground floor rooms, especially rooms adjacent to the street. we stayed at room 113 and you get noise from the reception waiting area as well as from the street. Otherwise the rooms facing the back have no views at all, but at least quieter.
