The Mutiara was a very lovely place. Our ownly criticism was that the pool didn't get much sun. The location was a little isolated for us during the day so we just jumped in a taxi to Legian - no problem. Lots of restaurants in easy walking distance for night time. The beach was a bit of a trek and also not as good as Legian. But the Mutiara was very very nice to come home to. The rooms were very comfortable.
Excellent place to stay, in a much nicer area then some other parts of Bali. Always very clean and nice and quiet.

We've stayed in Mutiara hotels before and this one did not disappoint. Lovely hotel, great breakfast and very friendly staff. Location a little out of the way, but in Bali that can sometimes be a good thing!
My family of 4 stayed in 1 deluxe & 1 superior room. The deluxe was very spacious with great bathroom and LCD situated by pool which was fantastic. Superior room was upstairs with nice outlook over pool with older tv and smaller bathroom. Pool was large & uncrowded. Breakfasts good with friendly staff. Location was quiet and oasis-like, but a hike to beach. Shuttle service was a bonus. Very tidy and clean at all times.
This hotel was a pleasant surprise after booking on the internet, especially for the price. It was quiet, pleasant surroundings, friendly staff and high quality service.
Nice villa pool, average room & breakfast, fairly good location, welcoming staffs, reasonable rates, excellent serivce... unforgettable stay! thumbs up.
My sister and I found this hotel convenient and the staff extremely helpful. The room was adequate for our needs with a lovely balcony overlooking the pool. You can lie in the pool and lookup at the overhanging frangipani trees and take in the beautiful perfume. The girls in the massage spa room are a delight.
All in all not a bad hotel. Negative aspects: they did not have a pick up for us at our arrival, they do not have free internet or wifi (most bars and restaurants, even convenience stores have it!!!), there were may mosquitoes in the room and the cupboard was in the very large but non air conditioned bathroom... Breakfast was not buffet type, and quite boring. Positive aspects: Very good and convenient location, large rooms, nice pool and very nice staff. It's a nice hotel, not too big and crowded, but it needs some renovations to it for sure! At USD 80 per night, it wasn't too bad, but I'd look elsewhere for my next trip to Bali.
The Mutiara Bali Resort was in a nice quiet location in Seminyak. I travelled with my husband and 4 children for a family wedding. The staff were always smiling and friendly. It was great after a long day out coming back to the comforts of the Villa. We had two rooms that were cleaned and dusted on a daily basis, breakfast was lovely every morning. Nothing was ever a problem. Our rooms were big and spacious with a balcony on each looking over to the pool. Its a 2 min stroll down a laneway to some absolutely beautiful restaurants. Thumbs up from us. Would definately use them again.
Staff were very friendly and willing to help. The spa was excellent and reasonably priced. It was nice and quiet but it had no bar which felt odd.
