"It was the perfect spot for an unforgettable island vacation. The hotel is suitable for people who want to get away from it all, or for a great family vacation. It is an unpretentious place where we could walk from our cabin door onto a pristine beach. Yes, the bathrooms are old and the hot water system is quaint, but the wonderful surroundings compensate for the bathrooms over and over. I will definitely go back there. "The bungalows are in need of upgrading and are fairly basic, but well kept and clean. The location and facilities are very good as is the swimming pool. This resort is 3 star, but is very well priced. There are lots of good quality restuarants at Telega Harbour a 2 min taxi ride away (8 RM each way). The Beach Seashell Bar is a great place at night for a drink and listening to the live band." - Allan Ross
"Great location on Langkawi Island. The resort is within a nature reserve, and we saw spectacled langur monkeys (the cutest and friendliest I have ever seen in the wild), monitor lizards lazing in the sun in the gardens (both rainbow and ordinary ones) and beautiful birds. The private beach, Kok beach is lovely for a dip and there were no jellyfish when we went in." - Anonymous
