This hote apparenly had known better times; now it is a little shabby, but fairly comfortable. It is however very inconveniently located. A friendly staff, usual difficulties with English, altogether a pleasant place to stay - for good hikers, that is!
pretty good value for money. would stay in this hotel again. had to book a train ticket throuh frontdesk. very efficient.
30sq.m, Twin room, comfortable and spacious room equipped with modern facilities, such as cable TV, IDD telephone and free Internet access.
We enjoyed staying here, especially the 1930s art deco environment. We also found the waiting staff in the Western restaurant quite charming. Our main criticism was the slowness of staff to clear off dirty table cloths during the breakfast (in the main dining room). However, we would go there again. And Nanjing is a wonderful city.
The front desk clerk was very nice when we checked in at 3 AM in the morning. The manager was kind to find an English speaking tour guide in a short time.
