Nathan Hotel Hong Kong

I have stayed at this hotel many times (at least 15-20) over the past few years, and usually for a minimum of 7-10 days, and has sometimes gone up to 2-3 weels straight. This hotel suits my partner and I because we prefer the Kowloon side, and access to Temple Street Markets, Mongkok markets, Mongkok andShamShui Po computer centres etc. ALWAYS saty in the Nathan floors which are better finished and were refurbished about 5-6 years ago. The Nathan Floor rooms include free internet access (important to us), plus free buffet breakfasts. Only two lifts which is fine if they are both working, but quite often one can be out of action for a short while which causes bak-up of people. Staff generally very polite and courteous. NOT an issue for us, but for some it might be important to have a swimming pool, but therte is no pool at this hotel. Will continue to stay here when we visit Honk Kong/.

I have been staying in Nathan for almost 4 years, never had a complain but there is always room for improvement. My most recent stay was on 28/09, reached hotel around 1.30 pm, checking in was a breeze, though my room was not ready, the receptionist manage to put me in another room not wanting me to wait too long. On 29/09, Hong Kong was hit by typhoon Nesat and all public transport were not in service except for a few taxis, I had an appointment in another hotel but it was difficult getting a taxi, the concierge and bell boy were so helpful, one of the bell boy even went to the extend of rushing out in the rain to stop a taxi for me, I greatly appreciate such gestures and though Nathan is not rated 5 stars, the services rendered makes you a star.

Good location, hotel staff was very friendly and helpful. Room was big and comfortable, will definitely be the first choice when visit Hong Kong again.

My wife and I stayed in the Nathan room for 3 nights and had access to the lounge with free coffee/tea, cold drinks and computer with internet. My wife likes a good shower and this one was excellent. The bed was firm, just how I like it. Check-in staff all very helpful with no language problems. Would stay again.

Good Things : - Located in the heart of tourists area - Very near to the MRT train station and very much convinient - Good food during the breakfast time Bad things : - Poor hospitality from the hotel officer - one lift has broke down and consume a lot of time for waiting the lift - The photos of the room is totally different with the actual thing. Please be aware of it. -

good location. lots of good food. the flashing light in the lift can be pretty irritating. nice and clean room. unable to get a double bed, have to make do with 2 single beds. breakfast is NOT GOOD, better off at the typical hongkong cafe in the area.

Very convenient location. Take bus A21 from airport HK$33 per person and it stops just outside hotel. Across the road is Temple St and the Lady St is just outside the Mongkok MTR. Cheers Restaurant next door serves excellent Cantonese food and Dim Sum. Take the free shuttle K1 bus, bus stop is to left of hotel entrance to Kowloon Station and you can check in instead of queueing in airport. Airport Express train costs HK$70 per person if you buy from the ticket counter; costs HK$90 if paying by Oyster card. Hotel serves basic breakfast; but serves our purpose for the 4 day stay.

It was the perfect hotel to be in! Location was great - near shopping areas as well as business areas! All is just a walking distance. Airport buses pass the hotel everyday so it was a zilch take the bus ride back to the airport. Rooms were clean and it had free internet access!!! Most hotels charge internet now and it was great to not have to spend on something that's staple! ;) I will surely book at Nathan again and again when I visit HongKong. It's really worth your while and your money!

All Staff members are very friendly & helpful. Great location and excellent hotel for that price.

Always stay in Nathan Hotel whenever we visit Hong Kong. They have been improving & overall things were up to standards. Great location to many shopping areas.

The location of the hotel is at the central of great location. You can access to food, shopping, etc easily. The hotel staffs are very friendly and is a very clean hotel.

Booked Nathan Grand Room - room was good, staffs are really good in service. Will come back again.

I just came back from from 5 nights in Hong Kong at the Nathan Hotel. The smell in the hotel room upon the initial entry was a combination of cigarette smell and air fragrance (very common in most HK hotel rooms). The room was a good size by HK standards and was serviced well on a daily basis. The staff was very friendly. Check out time was 12 noon and the staff was more than happy to put your luggage into the storage section. It is a 10 minute walk from Jordan train station and a great variety of buses run up and down Nathan Road. The A21 airport bus ($33 HK one way) stops outside the hotel. The breakfast served on the 15th floor is excellent. I suggest people booking should go for the Nathan Room option--- allows you to use the "Nathan Lounge" (free internet and refreshments). I will definitely stay there again on my next visit.

The Hotel was very central to Harbour and shopping. Staff very friendly and helpful. The only complaint we had was the food. We only had breakfast but it was not nice.

This is usually our hotel of choice and the GF and I come here a couple of times a year. Everything below the 14th floor is great - but I do wish they would have a close look at their breakfast service soon. This part of the package gets worse every time we go. The cups and cutlery were filthy this time. The breakfast room is always too full and you have to wait for a table. As regulars will know the the industrial toaster is slower than watching paint dry. The service is appalling and you have to get up to help yourself to coffee or tea... for some reason they can never remember your room number so you'll be asked many times for it. The breakfast options are never labeled correctly - the tureen marked 'Baked beans' had spring rolls in it, etc... and don't get me started on their famous bacon! YUK! Of course if breakfast isn't important to you then ignore my review and use this hotel.

Large room. Very good location. Excellent service. Will come back again.

very nice hotel with terrific location and service

Surprised by HongKong standard that room (exec) was fairly big. It's clean and brightly lit. Service staff courteous. Airport bus A21 (fare HKD33) stops right next to hotel on arrival and for departure, go across the road and walk about 20M only. Very convenient location with good restaurants and within shopping malls. I will definitely return stay at next opportunity.
