It all began with the reconstruciotn of an old farmhouse in the heart of the Pielach valley.
With a lot of wooden elements and lovely details the hotel is able to stick to their own Steinschaler style.
All rooms are equiped with solid wood furniture. Of course, they all have shower or bath, WC, TV with SAT-receiver, telephone. Nearly all of them have highspeed internet access.
The new Steinschaler cuisine offers both - healty nutrition as well as traditional specialities from the Pielach valley and the Must quater.

Getting there:
Arrival by car:
take highway A1, Exit St. Poelten Sued (km 58),
Turn right to B20 - direction Lilienfeld.
At the 2nd traffic light (crossing in Spratzern) turn right to B39 - direction Obergrafendorf and Kirchberg.
Follow road B39 approx. 20 km until you reach Warth (3 km after Rabenstein, but 2 km before Kirchberg).
Turn left at the only crossing in Warth. Immedately after you turned you can see the an oval green sign: "Steinschalerhof". The entry is just next to the sign on your left side.
Arrival by train:
From Vienna west station (Westbahnhof) you take the train to St. Poelten main station (Hauptbahnhof). Change here for the narrow-gauge railway of Mariazell (Mariazellerbahn). Get of at station Steinschal/Tradigist. The last stop before is Steinklamm. Please ask the train staff to stop.
After you get off the train, walk 115 m heading driving direction of the train. Then turn right and reach the hotel front office entrance after 60 m. You will walk about 2-3 min

A Short-term parking zone in front of the reception is also available for about 8 cars.
