Nella Hotel La Spezia

This hotel is a real treasure. The staff were very helpful and the breakfasts and dinners were great. It was a great location for the trains to Cinque Terre. Would recommend.

Lovely homely hotel with friendly people..and the setup of the dining and lounge area encourages guests to talk to each other, which is nice. The location is lovely but 4km from downtown - buses run regularly from just 50 metres up the street, but coming back in the evening the buses are unreliable so a taxi is the answer. They do pick you up from the train station tho. Free internet is great, but nowhere to do laundry so forced to pay to get it done but they did a great job. If I had a car I would be happy to stay again.

Nice and cosy place at the top of a hill. Some annoying smell from drainage and kitchen.

Lovely Italian hotel, nice room, very good service and exellent location for visiting Cinque Terre. Nice hotel restaurant, we had a couple of good dinners and wine there. Would very much like to go there again!

very lovely hotel off the beaten path - unfortunately you have to travel the beaten path in La Spezia to get there. Great manager who gave us bus and train directions to Cinque Terre.

Very clean and tidy, friendly staff, only downside was it was a fair way out of town - although the bus drops you almost right at the door, so not a major problem. Would definitly stay here again.

A reasonable place in a good quiet location and god for visits to the Cinque Terre. We did have some difficulty finding it from the driving directions, and it was more expensive than other similar places we had stayed in Italy.

We stayed during busy Italian holiday period , room and facilities were fine , pleasant staff , very helpfull , the bus service to La Spezia was frequent though the hair pin bends on the road out of town are not for the faint hearted . Good base for walking Cinque Terre - one of best walks we had was from Nella through woods to coast. . Strong recommendation , - theres also two restauranrs close by that you can eat out within walking distance without having to go in to town . +++

Very helpful staff, great dinner, location is out of town up a mountain by 15 minutes, require a car and yet bus is across the road. Worth the drive up for the great service and view.

We arrived late in the evening, however, the welcome we got was fantastic. The staff were brilliant and went to great lengths to translate the restaurant menu for us! On friendliness and service alone would recommend this hotel.

Everything was ok. Nella is located in a nice and quite quiet place not far from the city La Spezia. It is close to nice areas on the shore line. We can recommend the hotel for one or two nights stay.
