New Hiroden Hotel Hiroshima

Excellent hotel conveniently near to the JR station, the staff were very helpful to a weary, hot and non - japanese speaking traveller. I would seriously recommend this hotel and would consider staying there again

Very good location. Very close to JR station. Within walking distance of major tourist sites.

Another great motel used while in Japan. Very close to the train station which meant no taxi trip, just a short walk. Being close to the both the train and bus stations meant we could get around easily and quickly. Happy hour at the restaurant/bar was also very good. Would stay here again.

stayed one night, very convenient for railway station and plesant walk to the Peace Park. We would stay there again.

This is a somewhat older yet clean and quite comfortale hotel just 3 minutes from the Hiroshima JR station, Street cars(trams), Post Office and other facilities. Staff quite helpful and buffet breakfast good value-for-money.

Hotel is in an excellent location, 5 minute walk from Hiroshima Station. Free internet access and friendly staff. Would stay here again.

The size of the room was a little above average. The bathroom was small. The sink had almost no water pressure. The TV was tiny had no English channels. An average Japanese business hotel.

The hotel was well situated only a few minutes walk from Hiroshima JR Station. Whilst the location of our room was good there was a bit of noise from traffic on the road at the front of the hotel as the windows were not double glazed. As with a lot of Japanese hotels in this class the room was on the small side but it served our purposes well whilst we discovered the local area.

Dispute over reservation of non smoking room took a while to resolve. Once resolved stafff were really helpful. Location is close to JR station, trams and buses. Turn right out of the main exit and follow the road. Hotel had good facilities but Internet was so slooow. Would stay here again. Toilet seat was heated bidet which is common in this class of hotel. No credit card facilities as in common in Japan.

Close to train station within a few minutes walking distance. We walked to Peace park and Memorial. Rooms facilities are a little tired, but very helpful staff with some English.

If travelling to Hiroshima via Shinkansen train, the hotel is only a few minute walk from Hiroshima Station. You can see the building as you walk through the overpass towards the stations main exit (not from the platform the Shinkansen stops). The room was very spacious, especially in comparison to other Japanese hotel rooms. Japanese hi-tech toilet included. Staff were generally friendly but only spoke limited English. The hotel is also close to the trams to travel to the Peace Memorial Park. However, you can walk to the park (approximately 30 minutes). The décor and furniture did look tired and the room carpet could do with a slight clean. However, the hotel was being renovated. Overall, excellent location to the station and the room was clean and pleasant.

Good hotel in its rank for a reasonable price. Western and Japanese breakfast is rather varied. Easy access from JR station.
