New Hotel Candide Paris

Basic hotel, clean, not far from Gare de Lyon and next to a metro station. suited us well for the one night we needed in Paris. Not in the touist centre of Paris but hene an affordable hotel.

Very clean with up-to-date rooms, which are slightly small but adequate for 3 star. All facilities within the rooms work well. Friendly welcome and interesting location with good cafes and shops nearby, though otherwise a slight bit off the beaten track. I enjoyed staying here and would willingly return again. Great breakfast.

Very nice hotel. Rooms very clean. Bed linen spotless. Bathroom spacious and clean with bath and shower. Ideally located a minute's walk from Voltaire metro station (line 9) and also bus stop (route 69) which brings you to Notre Dame, Louvre, Eiffel Tower amongst other attractions. Staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful. Buffet breakfast had a good choice of cereals, fruit, juices, bread rolls, croissants, meats, tea and coffee. Check this hotel out.

Good location, 10 minutes walk from Place de Bastille. Room was basic, but clean & tidy with bed made daily. Breakfast was good, but they ran out of bread, croissents etc. on one of the days....not good!

If you are looking for a cheap hotel (both in the sense of cost and quality) then this hotel will do. Nothing particularly special about the hotel itself - although our room was clean it looked grubby due to the marks on the walls and skirting boards. Our room was next front facing which means if you open the window you'll need earplugs for the noise. Breakfast was good enough.
