I have never stayed in such a tiny hotel room in my life, not at all roomy and I doubt you could swing a cat. No airconditioning made what would have been a pleasant stay an unpleasant one.
Clean and nicely decorated, but tiny single room. The bed was too narrow, I was cold a great part of the night since the heating system had stopped. The hotel elevator is really slow.
very good hotel abd very reasonably priced. loads of nice shops and resturants just around the corner. will go again
Completely renovated, very clean, nice staff, central location, not too far a walk to Bayswater tube station. I'd say this is a fabulous choice for those who are on a budget and would like a clean, convenient place to stay.
Excellent in every way.
Little but nice rooms. Quiet and lovely.
breakfast was disappointing and room was extremely small Also would have felt better with a safety chain on the door But was impressed with cleanliness, TV and look of room
Linden Hotel is pleasant hotel with standard rooms and facilities. The only problem was that the walls were too thin, so you could hear other people in the corridor at night. Also the check out time was too early, 10.30, I think it should be 11.30. Apart from that, this is a good hotel for an overnight stay.
Bulb not working, cup missing and tv useless, otherwise fine, good curtains, bedding and shower
this hotel is a ok hotel to use if you want a hotel just to sleep. no food exept breakfast and no bar. you can start your walk in the morning in lovely hyde park, and the buss goes near by to oxf. street and you are near by notting hill.
Was on the top floor in an attic room which was very small. The TV did not work the furnishings were old. Mext morning changed to another room that was only marginally better (the TV worked). Hotel was in the process of being renovated (did not know that until I arrived). Very disappointed as the photos on the web site bore no resemblance to the majorty of rooms available. Would not stay there again.
The hotel is ok, but the wooden flooring that seems appealing on the pictures actually creaks a lot. This means you wake up every time the person who lives above you turns inn bed or goes to the bathroom.
Very friendly well run hotel. Convenient to all amenities, parks restaurants shops and tube stations. Rooms clean but on the small side. Would stay there again.
I was very pleased with Hotel. The staff were pleasant and helpful. They worked hard to find answers to my travel questions if they did not know the answer right away. Fresh fluffy towels everyday. My single room was quite small, but adequate. When I returned from a four day absence, they gave me a larger room at the same rate. They had remembered my travel questions and had the answers ready for me. Nice breakfast and breakfast room. It was a pleasant walk to public transportation in a nice neighborhood with lots of restaurants in the area. I'll stay here again when I visit London.
I recommend this hotel to anybody visiting London. The staff are friendly and the environment is generally good.
Very small room - if you can live with that - it's quite a smart, modern room with ensuite. Nice big sash windows. Good for overnight stay after a night out in London.
This hotel was lovely. It was conviently located so that you could to walk into London via Kensington Gardens and Hyde Park, if you wished. The breakfast was great and the staff were very helpful.
Hotel is a bit run down. Location is good though.
Great place to land in London. Location was great - close to Notting Hill, Kensington Gardens and the Portabello Markets.
Lovely hotel on outskirts of London but still with easy access to many main areas. Small hotel that was friendly, clean and a pleasure to stay in. The new bathroom suites were particually impressive!
