"We had a wonderful stay at the New Star. The location right on the beach is perfect and the short distance to Chaweng suited us perfectly. We stayed in a Palm Room which was very nicely finished and a good size.
Only a few minor issues - we arranged an airport pickup but were met by blank looks by the hotel rep at the airport, it was no problem to get a taxi but not a great first impression. The rest of the staff were wonderful and helpful.
We have two small 1 and 2 year old and a double baby stroller so negotiating the stairs to our room and to breakfast was a nuisance. There are rooms that don't have stairs which would have made our holiday much easier. " - Vanessa Thompson
