New Tanda Hotel Nagasaki

I read other reviews of this hotel that complained about noise restrictions and old facilities but the experience that I had was nothing of the sort. The TV was on quite loud late into the night with no problems, loud conversation, and laughing till about 2am all with no trouble. The facilities were clean and user-friendly. Bathroom was modern, one of those auto toilets. Over all a very nice place for the price. Location wise it was a 4 minute walk to China town, and a bit further for a large outdoor shopping arcade. From the hotel to Nagasaki station took about 10-15 minutes depending on pace. There are also the local city train stops all over the place. I would stay there again.

As a tourist I would like to suggest that you could give more information, in other languages than Japanese, about how to get to your hotel apart from taking a taxi. Or you can supply a map and clear indications for the purpose, in other languages apart from Janpanese. Thank you.

I would like to commend the staff at the hotel for their assistance and helpful guidance in a country, whose language I do not speak. Only steps away from a beautiful city park at the edge of the harbour, the location of this hotel is ideal for exploring Nagasaki.
