Bed was two king singles pushed together so had an uncomfortable ridge in the middle. Also didn't like the pillows.
The buildings and furnishings are a bit tired and dated, but there are refurbishments being made. Overall the friendliness of the staff and the facilities made up for any shortfalls.

A very pleasant hotel in a pretty location.
Great location on the shores of Pittwater and just across the road from the Newport Arms Hotel, which has one of the best beer gardens in Sydney to spend a leisurely Sunday arvo. Our room (a standard one) had a view of the water from the window and the (very small) balcony, and had been recently refurbed. Very good value all round.
Clean, tidy and quiet meant the weekend was pleasant. The Rates To Go rate was also great!

Cost of rooms was much better through Rates to Go than normal Mirage charges. I would have expected more of the hotel if paying the full rate.
