Hotel and rooms in need of update: some items in the room did not work ! You can see it's a little decaying here and there.

staff attitude in bad, the food variety in penyu restaurant is very limited. room is spacious.

Great hotel, if you're looking for a quiet resort. It has everything but it is very far from everywhere. The city itself is about 45-60 minutes drive. if you're just for the hotel stay than its good. But if you're looking for other attraction, better in the city.

Though the hotel is located about 20 - 30 minutes from the conveniences of the city, it was very difficult to beat the 6 km of beautiful sand, and warm ocean. Our children loved the pool facilities and the food was surprising good compred to most isolated resorts. Take the shuttle bus into the city or One Borneo for your shopping needs.

A great resort. Fantastic beach for swimming. Clean room and of large size. However food at resort is very expensive and also transfer to town is very pricey as well. Think twice if cost is an issue to you.

Fantastic Beach resort. Ideal setting with plenty to do for families with young children. Super beach very clean clear waters. Wonderful tropical gardens to walk or cycle through. Stay in the Borneo Rooms all situated in double storey blocks dotted through the tropical garden. Stayed 11 nights - didn't want to leave!!

Everything was wonderful except food which I think did not really worth the money I paid for.

The entrance fee to the Spa is exagerated, considering it just entitles guests to using the sauna and steam. Other resorts, as Shangri-la Rasa Ria, provide these and more facilities for free.

Friendly. polite and informed staff. Facilites are good, but the hotel is a little remote if you want to use the city each day. That said the Nexus has it all on site for a good holiday. The seafood platter for 2 to share at the beach bar is outstanding.

This resort is prettier than the pictures at its own web site. It is worth every one of those five-stars. Immaculate facilities, very friendly staff, pristine location and very good value for the caliber of this place. The ocean view balcony will immediately relax you and you will soon get used to the soothing sounds of the waves and the melodic chirping of the birds! Great restaurants, great spa, good range of activities, and the beach is really 6 km! Our only criticism was that it was too hot to play a full-round of golf, but 9-holes in the morning was fine. This is a great place to get away and relax. If you're looking for a secluded but first rate resort in Borneo -- this is it! Consider it for a honeymoon or special anniversary.
