NH Amsterdam Centre Hotel

Great location, not in the middle of the city center, but close enough to feel it's heat!

This hotel is convenient to everything - the canal boats, coffeehouses, restaurants, shops, etc. Very accommodating staff. We did not eat at the hotel except for room service one morning, which was very good but a bit pricey. We did like the pillow service; guests have a choice of pillow types ranging from firm to soft. You choose the ones you want and they bring them to your room.

Great location and access to different forms of transportation. Hotel was clean and staff was generally friendly and helpful. A concierge service would be a plus as I had to wait in line at the reception desk to ask for help.

very helpful staff throughout the chain, who provided information on getting around the city. easy check in and out. clean rooms with tea and coffee making facilities and some toiletries. good location for museums and galleries, and a fair few resturants near by. fair pricing for a hotel of this standard. would definatly stay again.

The room were cleaned very late most days, when we checked in we had to wait for the room very long. The breakfast was excellent.

Room was small, but very clean and pleasant. Nothing fancy, but it had everything we needed: comfortable bed, good pillows, kettle, nice lighting, iron, hairdryer, good shower, large towels. Wardrobe space was small. The staff were really helpful, looking up cinema times for us and checking museum opening hours. Didn't have breakfast there, so can't comment on that. Good location - several buses run from the airport to the Leidseplein, right opposite the hotel. An easy walk to the big museums. Would stay there again.

Stayed 4 nights during NYE 2010 for an average of 160€/night breakfast not included. Very nice hotel ideally located, between Leidseplein - one of the busiest areas of Amsterdam with its numerous shops, fast-food joints, bars, and night clubs - and the museum quarter, within walking distance to the Rijksmuseum, the Van Gogh Museum and the luxury stores of P.C. Hooftstraat. Also just nearby Vondelpark, perfect spot if you like running! Tram station for lines 1, 2, 5 right in front of the hotel so you can easyly reach the Dam Square and downtown area. Standard rooms are clean and spacious with an extremely comfortable queen bed, a large desk area, a closet, a full-sized bathroom, a shower with 2 heads, lights turn on and off with the key card, also available is a hot water kettle and supplies for instant coffee and tea. Bar fridge, safe, iron, sat tv, all very functional. Wifi on request. The staff are helpful and speak good English.

The Hotel is quit good for it's price . But for coming visitors it is most important to know that there are no parking services for the Hotel , which means you have to park your car quit far from the Hotel .

Excellent location with easy access to trams (tram stop is right outside). Helpful staff. The hotel turned a good weekend into a great weekend! Would definately stay there again.

After staying in another Amsterdam hotel the night before this was a breath of fresh air. Excellent location within 5 mins of Leidesplein. The staff are friendly and were always willing to offer assistance. The bedrooms are modern and clean with a lovely bathroom with walk in shower (no bath). Breakfast room is bright and airy and the continenatl style breakfast is above average. Over all I would rate this hotel highly and will definitely use again and would not hesitate to recommend to friends.

Good choice, good value, great location for museums, and sightseeing.

They allowed us to check in early in the morning which was very much appreciated.

Nice rooms and perfect location (all in walking distance). Hotel offered a special rate (stay 3 pay 2) for three nights and therefore the average price per night was an excellent deal. Would stay there any time again and could highly recommend the hotel
