"We were assigned two smoking rooms by default. The default should be non-smoking. Asked to change the first night and hotel said a triple room was not available, however we could replace our double room. Next morning I called again and somehow a triple room was now available. The next night was fine in non-smoking rooms. Then the third night we could smell cigarette smoke again in one of the rooms (we had booked two rooms). The staff just came up with a spray to mask the smell, did not offer to change rooms or give discount. Disappointed with this because of price and the fact that they consider themselves a 4 star hotel." - Anonymous
"The location is excellent, it is located in a main shopping street. There is a metro station just in front of the hotel, with 10-15 minutes you can walk to the West Railway station.

"The customer service at NH Atterseehaus Vienna was fantastic. It more than made up for the strange elevator system. I was fortunate enough to have a room that shared a massive balcony and the location is on the major shopping strip in Vienna. I would highly recommend this hotel and look forward to staying there again! " - PREOSHUN POONASAMY
