NH Belvedere Vienna

I like the NH chain for being a bit different chain. Leaving a book in the room for instance is refreshing.

We stayed at this hotel five nights during Christmas time. The hotel is located very close to the city center, only 15 minutes walk from the City Opera and big shopping street. Near the hotel is the famous beer-restaurant with its delicious “stelze”. There is a urban train station only 200 meters from the hotel. Also a tram 71 which takes right to the center stops by the hotels door. The room was perfect for the price we paid and it was very clean. The WC and bath were also clean and everything was working. The breakfast buffet was reach enough for the four-star hotel. The food was alright and fresh. The staff were very helpful and kind. We really enjoyed staying in this hotel. We would recommend it to all our friends as it is price-worthy.

Very nice and pretty good located hotel (10 minutes from Schwarzenberger Platz and 15 minutes from Kaerntner Strasse walking distance or 2 tram stops). Safe neighbourhood - surrounded by many embassies. Rooms are comfortable, hotel staff very fast and efficient. Nice wellness area.

Air conditioning was great.

Nice big rooms, well maintained hotel right next to Belvedere Palace & about 10 minute walk to St Stephens & the center of downtown. 1/2 block away, There is a great really old, established Vienna Brewery & retaurant , cheap & great BBQ spare ribs & all the local specialities. It's called Salma. Included buffet breakfast at hotel is pretty good ...

Big rooms, very good furnished, a great breakfast and a 10 minute walk downtown. Perfect.

The room was clean, comfortable for 2 people, and simply furnished. The bathroom was nicely laid out and quite large, but if you are looking for the soaps, shampoos, bath oils and other little bottles to add to your collection, as with other Astrons, you will be disappointed - liquid soap/shower gel comes on tap. As for the facilities, the dining room had seating for perhaps 30-40 people, but the buffet with the usual mix of bread rolls, cold meats, cheeses, cereals and yoghurts would have been hard-pressed to cope with such a number. The fitness room was in the basement with a multi-gym machine, an exercise bike and a few other bits and pieces, adequate for most people. I did not take the opportunity to use either the sauna, steam room or solarium, but maybe next time. In closing, the staff were friendly and helpful and Iwould certainly stay in this hotel again.

Good, large room with excellent bathroom. Staff very attentive and courteous. Breakfast excellent. Comfortable hotel which we would have no hesitation in using again. The only slight negative point is that our room faced onto Rennweg, and there was some degree of traffic noise from the street, especially in the mornings. However the double glazing was adequate and the noise level inside the room was not high enough to be a nuisance.
