NH Cavalieri Hotel Pisa

The NH is a nice hotel - large for Pisa, and right across from the train station. That makes it very convenient for travelling but it is about a 20-25 minute walk to the Leaning Tower. That wasn't a problem for us. The front desk did however, charge us for the rooms which I had prepaid for with Orbitz. I do't know why that happened, but Orbitz eventually refunded us.

We landed in the middle of the 'volcano' chaos. Our flight had been cancelled and there was panic eveywhere! Our superior room proved to be a most wonderful oasis. Our triple room had 3 flat screen TVs to keep us updated on several channels. Staff were very helpful and patient.Located straight across from Pisa Centrale station meant we were able to beat the queues in the morning and book trains across Europe to get us to Paris and eventually home.

Restaurant very good, including buffet offer. Room spacious. Soundproof and air-conditioned.

The location is excellent for getting around Pisa on foot. Station across the road and buses right outside the door make visits to other towns and cities very easy, also the airport takes only about 10 minutes.

Very happy with location - 7 mins from the airport and quiet even being so close to the train station. Staff were helpful and friendly.

This hotel is in a great location as it is right beside the train station and as you can walk from one end of Pisa to the other in 15 mins it was not too far away from anything. Also, given the location, it was easy to access decent but reasonably priced bars and restaurants, unlike in the area surrounding the tower etc. Was very pleased with all aspects of this hotel and woul recommend it to anyone.

Extremely convenient location, good staff.

Staff were helpful when we rang to say we were delayed, and spoke good English. However, we were disappointed that on arrival (at around midnight) we were not able to get a hot drink in the hotel, but were directed to a bar around the corner. I would have thought it possible in a hotel of this standard to be able to fulfill this small request. Otherwise, no complaints - excellent position and service. PS Is there any way you can influence the taxis to provide a better service from the airport - we had to wait over an hour for a taxi into town.

Lovely hotel, everybody very friendly and helpful. Check out the steak and chocolate sauce in the restaurant!

The Hotel was very well placed for the railway station and a nice walk through the town to the tower and other monuments. Check in was very smooth, the room was in very good order and clean. We only had a drink in the bar and breakfast, service at both was attentive, with a very good range of food and drinks for breakfast.

This hotel is in a great location, just across the road from the train station and 15 minutes from the leaning tower. The rooms are spacious, staff are helpful and they do a great breakfast too. We stayed one night in Pisa as we were travelling to Cinque Terra the next day, so it was perfect.

Convenient for airport and train station.

Perfectly sited next to the railway station, within easy of the Leaning Tower of Pisa. The staff are helpful. We enjoyed our dinner in the hotel restaurant.

Hotel resturant was EXCELLENT. There was a mushroom theme to the complete meal which was priced with 4 courses and a good value. The Dining area was a little warm, The rooms were well air conditioned and sound proofed. Bed was very comfortable and wake up service was on time. The bath area needed repainting and cracks fixed. We like the card -key entry system.

Excellent hot and cold buffet breakfast. Very friendly staff. Great location, about a 10 minute walk to the leaning tower and a short stroll to the main shopping areas. Fantastic bathroom too. Huge,spotless and all marble and tiles. Probably one of the best places to stay in Pisa
