NH Grand Hotel Krasnapolsky, situated in a famous builiding which dates back to 1865, located in the centre of Amsterdam is close to the house of Anne Frank, the Red Light District (de Wallen), the Van Gough Museum and the Heineken Beer Brewery. The hotel has 468 cosy rooms, which includes 1 suite and 6 junior suites and 35 renovated apartments. There is a fitness centre, a massage sevice and also a parking attendant. The NH Grand Hotel Krasnapolsky has a Summer Garden and a monumental Winter Garden where you can enjoy an extensive buffet breakfast in the mornings. In the a-la-carte restaurant Reflet, you can taste the varied selection of french style cuisine belle époque. However If you prefer oriental cooking, the Shilbli Bedouin restaurant is an excellent choice. The hotel is also home to the Wynand Fockink Distillery, dating back to 1679, where you can taste and buy the best gins and liqueurs. By car
- Continue on the A10 (S112)
- Exit at junction S112 and, at the end, turn left (towards the Centre)
- Turn left at the next roundabout
- After 10 traffic lights, turn left (towards the centre)
- Go over the bridge, and turn right
At the end of the street, turn right (towards Rokin)
- At the Dam square turn right and continue until you arrive at the hotel.
By train
From the main exit of Amsterdam Central Train Station, cross the square and the traffic lights continue towards the Dam Sqaure, and you will see the hotel on the left. This takes approximately 10 minutes. You can also catch the number 4, 9, 16, 20, 24 or 25 trams at the station and alight at the square Dam stop. The hotel is situated on the left.
