Nhi Nhi Hotel Hoi An

Good, friendly staff. location fine, good value. Suffers from hideous cover versions of western songs boomed throughout the building. (eg abba- "happy new year" at highvolume and high rotation! from 7 am new year's morning!) Would recommend for all travellers including families.

The Nhi Nhi is as good as can be expected at this price point. The staff was extremely friendly and attentive, in keeping with their reputation. The girls came out and greeted me by name when I showed up and they walked me up to my room. The location is a 10-15 minute walk from the old town area, or about a 25 000 dong cab ride. A few quibbles about the facilities: the one microscopic soap bar, the flat pillows, the low shower pressure, the lighting in the room could be better (I would have liked a decent reading light), the room door needs an inside security lock (but the room has a good safe), and the power outlets could be situated more intelligently. But these are quibbles. The Nhi Nhi is an excellent value in a good location in one of my favorite towns on the planet. I would stay there again.

The downstairs rooms all have a strong odour of mould, after complaining we were moved to an upper floor room. We strongly recommend that on booking you insist on not being given a ground floor room. After being moved we we were very happy with the hotel.

It is difficult to say how the staff treats you in a few boxes. I was welcomed like family and treated as well. If I needed anything at all, day or night, it was in my hands within minutes. The food was excellent .. particularly the mango salad. Everyone...and I mean EVERYONE literally waited on me hand and foot. I was actually chastised in a friendly way, for bringing my own luggage downstairs at the end of my stay. I was ALWAYS greeted with smiles and ' hellos '. I will definitely stay there again and will recommend it to anyone and everyone. Thank you all.

Our family (incl 2 children aged 4 and 6) stayed 3 nights at the hotel. We found the rooms excellent value for money and the staff were wonderful with our children. The pool was an added bonus for the children. The hotel is outside the old city of Hoi An, but only 10-15 mins walk away. The only downside was the breakfast described as "American" but very limited. However, we would recommend this hotel to others, particularly those with young families.

it was a joy to stay at this well maintained hotel,very friendly and welcoming staff. location around 10 minutes comfortable walk to the heritage area. when i return to hoi an i will be booking into this hotel again it was a pleasure to stay there.
