Getting there:From Singapore's Tanah Merah Ferry Terminal (Close to Changi Airpot). Bintan Resort Ferries run highspeed catamarans that are clean, safe and efficient. The journey is approx 55 minutes. Mayang Sari Beach Resort will provide complimentary bus transfers on Bintan for all guests to and from the hotel. The journey is approx 15 minutes. Ferry tickets can be booked via Bintan Resort Ferries (www.brf.com.sg).

Service here was pleasant, the staff was very polite and friendly. They make sure that the room was clean every morning, ready to assist. How ever we were not told abt the wireless during arrival. had to walk to the reception in the middle of the night to get the access code. But with the cooperation of the security personnel and an off duty reception staff, we were able to be connected to the world again!! Thank you so much.
We first checked into the Beach Club Cabins, looked good on internet but now old and smelly, moved into Hotel. Whole place is showing its age, no maintenance that we could see. Even the covered area at the beach front had broken floor boards, surely the money they make from charging S$ could go to maintaing the place, make it look fresh like it does on the Internet!
Lovely place and excellent service
good value for money (v. Cheap accommodation). Food was a major problem, we could not find a good restaurant in whole Nirwana complex. Also prices all in Spore dollars and even bit more expensive then in Spore.
The pools here are awesome, but that's about the only thing. Customer service was horrible, when having our clothes laundered, the price charged was higher than what we were told when we dropped it off; at the gift shop they also tried to charge higher than the price tag (a $4 item for $10); at the food court a soda costs $2.50 and when my husband asked for the entire can he was told he could only get a small cup of it, and the staff was generally unhelpful. We also rented a tandem bike which broke after riding for 10 minutes, we then walked it back (which took 20 minutes), we asked for our money back and we were told no, since we had it for 30 minutes. Stay elsewhere.
Everything's fine there & it's value for $... Might not have much facilities in the resort itself & it was raining straight for more than 24hrs since the 2nd night we were there but there are lots of things to b done @ Nirwana Gardens itself... Just hope & pray you got some quiet neighbours, not like ours... Hehe...
All staff were very friendly and accomodating. Great lunch buffet although choices are pretty much the same everyday.
