Nixe Palace Hotel Palma De Mallorca

The hotel was wonderful. You have to get the room with the sea view or you will be highly disappointed. The rooms are Wifi free. The food was good, but expensive, but worth it at the hotel. You have to get out and go see to enjoy. The water was warm. The spa was great. We enjoyed our time and cannot wait to come back. We are so happy we did not listen to the reviews that were negative. The taxi from the airport is about 26 euro, the only thing we did not like was the bus tour for 15 euro. We actually caught the bus and walked the night prior and toured ourselves and enjoyed. We ate at some great places. Fresh seafood! The staff was helpful, and we enjoyed our time!

I have stayed at this hotel twice this year as a girls weekend break away and both time it has done the job! Very relaxing hotel, really well run and very clean. beautiful views and lovely beach ( you have to pay a subsidised rate for the sunbeds). Also really convenient as the bus into Palma is just outside and only costs 2.6 euros for two of us.... its only 8 euros in a taxi. Bar and restaurant food can be expensive but there is a beach bar next door which is much cheaper. Cala major can be a little rough round the edges but there is plenty of choice in bars and little restaurants. But with travel into Palma so cheap you can eat really well in Palma.. Would definitely stay here again - just perfect for a relaxing break.

The room was lovely and being able to hear and see the sea while lying in bed was heavenly. 5 star service in Spain is not the same as in other countries such as the Far East - Nixe really could improve their service by having tea/coffee facilities in the room and ice delivered to the room each evening. While on the sun deck there was no service at all as the pool bar was closed out of season but it would have been good to have someone come around from time to time to see if there was anything we needed - we would have happily spent money in the hotel during the day if the service had been there. The barman did not seem to be too happy to give us drinks to take out side in March.The location was ideal out of the main season but probably all a bit crowded in the height of summer.

Well, the Place is pretty amazing, 10 minutes from the Airport The rooms are nice, clean and newly remade The Staff is very enjoyable (even more the bar staff ;-) The only problem is the customers...they re not at the same Level as the hotel... I know it s not my role to judge, but hey ! About the hotel, enjoy the terrasse just before the beach Ask for rooms at level 8 Cheers

we enjoyed a lovely stay and cannot fault this hotel. the sea view rooms are superb and the sunny temperatures (70 degrees - in january) added to our enjoyment. the location is quiet enough to be out of the way, but only a 5 min drive from the action/centre. we would definitely stay at the nixe again.

I can recommend rooms sea-view only , otherwise it's just a room to stay. The hotel beach is OK.

I found that the nixe hotel was in a lovely location, it is right on the beach and the veiws from the balcony were wonderful. The buffet breakfast was very good. Would recommend this hotel.

Beautiful hotel, but was very dissapointed no-one told me renevations were going at the time of my stay so there was no beauty salon..no Gym..and no indoor pool, It was a present for my sister who uses a Gym everyday!! On the plus side it was very clean lovely rooms great views fab food and very warm friendly staff. I didnt like the area as it was very run down,the hotel is stunning Though.I would recommend it but, rent a car.

The building work going on at the moment is quite noisy. Work starts at 8.00am and finishes late, 8.00pm. If you book a room with a sea view, try to get one away from the building work. The work is also going on around the pool, so could be disruptive if you want to use the pool during your stay.

Excellent hotel, beautifully kept with very competent staff. Food could however be better,breakfast had a large choice but was a lttle tired. Overall a good hotel for Majorca

At first, thank you for your care and attention shown to us during our recent stay at this hotel. There are good facilities and service. When we asked where we should park our car, a valet parking attending assisted us and parked the car for us. You quickly assigned a great room with view of Palma sea which was upgraded to 7th floor after we requested.

A most enjoyable hotel with pleasant, helpful staff and a beautiful location. We would not hesitate to return.
