Nora Beach Resort & Spa Samui

Our stay was great. We enjoyed the morning breakfast buffet. The morning walks on the beach. Swimming at the pool. Rooms were great. We had a Ocean view room which was great. We had a couple come in late one night with screaming kids which you can't help but very annoying. We spoke to management about another room. The first thing they did was up grade us free to another Ocean View Villa w/ a private pool this time. Staff was friendly and willing to meet every need. The food that we ate there was great. Good Thai food, Triple Club Sandwich and many other dishes. Great buffet in the morning, fruits, cereals, eggs, meats, juices, coffee's. The Dining was fantastic, big open space overlooking the ocean. the pool was large and plenty of space. The bed was a little firm for us but house keeping brought us a topper to put on the bed and it was okay after that. We stayed 7 days and would go back to the same place again. It was a little ways from down town shopping but for us it was fine. We wanted a quite and relaxing week and we got that. The ground were beautiful, green plants and flowers of all kinds. One last thing we rented a Motorbike to ride and it was cheap. Easy to get around it only cost like $12.00 US dollars a day. I It is about 10 mins to town and jsut to the left of the Hotel entrance is a mini mart. Use the "My friends" massage parlor, great staff and very good prices. Pedicure-$7.00, Manicure $7.00 Facial less than $20.00. Get out and see the island it is awesome...

Have had two incredible stays at the Nora, and can't wait to return for a third! Highly recommend for excellent staff who will remember your name, an absolutely perfect location, and a truly restful break.

Great service, staff are friendly and eager to help. One tip... pay the extra money and get a villa with an ocean view, you wont be disappointed.

We opted for a garden villa which turned out to be a good size, was nicley done out and was well equiped. The resort was poorley layed out with the main hotel block overlooking the villa and having a direct view into our bathroom and shower. If you get a villa make sure its away from the main hotel block! Service was unpredictable with some staff clearly disinterested/unmotivated. Our room was not made up on one occasion and they forgot to give us toilet roll on another. Location is a good walk or taxi ride from Chewang and quieter for it which turned out to be a blessing. Others may prefer to be closer to the action. American breakfast included in rate was average at best. Wouldn't stay again unless rate was much lower.

This hotel is a good place to have a rest. The beach is not really interesting but there is a large pool ; the restaurant is not very good which is very disappointing in such a country ; I was upgraded in a garden villa and it's well furnished ; the service is reactive ; the spa is great ; As a conclusion, there is no bad surprise in this hotel and the rates are good

A very lovely hotel, extremely clean and friendly. The breakfast was fantastic, though we didn't eat in the restaurant in the evening - I'm sure it too is very good. The staff were very helpful (offered to call our next hotel in Bangkok to confirm our reservation!). The only thing is the location, it's right at the norther end of Chaweng, around a headland. This isn't a major problem, you can walk to the beach or catch taxi (THB200) or local tuk-tuk (THB50 per person) into Chaweng. I would recommend staying here.

Peacefull location very near of Chaweng main Beach. Big rooms, wooden floors, Roman style Spa, very friendly service, good restaurant, moderate prising, lush gardens, 1 year old place. Very much worth recommendable.
