Good hotel Nice warm breakfast tram just outside the hotel Easy access to Blackpool Excellent leisure club
staff could have been more friendly and polite when requesting information, however lady that cleaned rooms was friendly. It is a very large and busy hotel and therefore can be a little confusing with no signs on doors to say private function only, also no price lists on dining room door to say how much dinner costs, you have to book the day before if wish to dine in the evenings ,not enough information relating to entertainment for the evening
The room was very clean and comfortable. Unfortunately we didn't have a sea view, but there again we didn't go away to spend our time looking out of the window. Our room was located 2 floors above the conference venue which was hosting a Line Dancing Weekend which meant we were kept awake on our second evening by loud music and loud revellers returning to their rooms.
Room, although generally clean, needed a thorough clean eg inside drawers & wardrobe, windows, mirrors and under the rim of the toilet. The first room we were offered was so small that the double bed was pushed up against the wall, making it difficult for a 60+ year old to get in and out of bed! It also creaked like mad and was rock hard. However, the hotel receptionist willingly allocated another room (with sea view!) as soon as we complained. Apart from that, the service was excellent, the breakfast was brilliant and set us up for the day, and there's plenty of parking spaces.
It was not the best location as it was a bit too far to walk to the nearest places of interest.
Generally a good hotel apart from the false fire alarm that we were not advised that we could back to room. (we had to ask). Breakfast was good and hotel had a good gym.
The hotel looked as if it needed refurbishing and painting. The room was basic but needed some interior repairs- toilet fittings coming off walls, no interior door chain, chain on sink plug broken. We only had breakfast and that was very good - the hotel was busy and we must have timed it right as later there were people having to wait for items of food. The staffwere polite and helpful. It suited our needs for one night.
Bath room neads re decarating and toilet pan was cracked Room was clean and tidey but has a smell of cigarets
This isn't really a complaint as I am usually cold in hotels and appreciate a bit of heat but it was unusually warm and just a little bit uncomfortable during the night. Also, the hotel restaurant closed at 8pm which we felt was a little early as we had to travel after work on Friday evening and by the time we arrived had missed the evening meal. However, breakfast was lovely and only added to our disappointment that we had missed dinner!
A friendley hotel with nice rooms and very good en suite.
had a lovely time during our visit to blackpool, the room was really good, better than expected. and the breakfast in the morning was very good. overall a very enjoyable stay
For the price we paid the room was poor. Couldn't pass from between bed and dressing table. carpet in need of cleaning. I know only one night but if they are going to use them for overnighters then price accordingly. Excellent food in restaraunt and good value.
location. is good to very good, if you'd like to be away from the busier areas of blackpool. i found the location had a better quality of restaurants and diners.
Superb breakfast!
like to say that the hotel was of basic accomodation, food average location could be closer to the town. its on the outskirts of blackpool in fleetwood.
The hotlel has very firm beds and provide excellent breakfast.
Would recommend this as a good value, comfortable stay. All 400+ rooms where full, but we felt like we where on our own. Great job Norbreck Castle.
I was disappointed that there was no details in the room of the facilities that they had to offer within the hotel. But reception was only to pleased to help when asked.
This hotel is ideal for a short stay in Blackpool. This is the second time I have used the hotel for a business trip and would use it again.
Good Room, plenty of hot water, good shower pressure, comfortable bed and an excellent breakfast.
