Northcote Motor Lodge has 16 quiet (double glazed), comfortable & affordable units (studio/1-bedroom/2-bedroom/spa/access). We are located on the northern side of the city, just 3km from the north/south bypass. Northcote Motor Lodge has both standard and deluxe accommodation. All units are non-smoking & self-contained with kitchen facilities, Sky TV with 3 channels(Movies, Sport, Discovery), telephone, heating & electric blanket. Some units have king-size bed, hairdryer, iron and ironing board. Coin-operated guest laundry is available onsite. Porta cot is available on request. We are 1km to Northlands Mall, Hoyts cinemas & 24hrs supermarket, 5km to city centre & airport, 7km to QEII, Burwood Hospital & Golf Course, 200m to St Bedes College, restaurants, library, church & park, 50m off main road with onsite parking & 10m to bus stop.

Getting there:We are located at 309 Main North Road, Redwood, Christchurch. We are on the northern side of the city just 5min from the north/south bypass. Self drive from the Airport takes about 10 minutes to the motel. Turn left out of the airport onto Johns Road then a right turn into Sawyers Arms Road & then a left turn into Northcote Road & then another left turn into Main North Road. A shuttle from the airport generally cost about $15 for one person or $20 for two people. You may call on arrival the Super Shuttle on 0800 748 885 or Royale Shuttles on 03 341 8140. If you are coming from the city, you may take bus service 12, 13 or 16 & it takes about 15 minutes to the motel. It costs around $2.50 per person per trip. Bus stop is right outside the main entrance.

Car parking:We have ample onsite parking spaces. Off-street parking is also available.
Child Policy:Child under the age of 3 stays free.
A great place to stay for a night if you have transport. I stayed in Unit 25 which is clean and the toilet facilities are good and very roomy. The kitchen facilities was a get help and you can drive down the road passing 3 traffic lights to the Countdown Supermarket and purchase food to be cooked. Will stay again if I visit Christchurch
Enjoyed our stay, comfortable accommodation. Hosts very pleasant, great with providing information & discount vouchers for city attractions. Playground just up the road made up for lack of outdoor area for playing.

The motel was very clean and tidy.The cooker area needed updating also the shower and washbasin area needed updating. It was, kind of, like stepping back to the 1970's. The owners were only new and they were very friendly and helpful. They will be a drawcard to return visits.
Dave & Marog made us most welcome and offered helpful information that assisted our travels nicely. We spenr a further two nights with them later this same week.
Close to airport, they were helpful with information about the area. Hotel was quiet. Free shuttle to airport.
This Motel was fantastic, the managers were excellent, we could not have asked for more from them. Nothing was ever a bother. We would definately recommend this motel & stay there again.

Older style motels in a handy location to the city, nearby shopping mall and the airport. The service was excellent. Rooms a bit dated but they were very clean and well looked after. Plenty of off street parking.
