"I stayed in Nova hotel from 12-14 August 2009 and would never stay there again.
The location is excellent where eating places are excellent and cheap and in the middle of the Golden triangle close to Jalan Bukit Bitang nightlife area. The hotel looks good from the outside and the reception area.
Firstly there is no hot water taps for the wash basins in this hotel at all. I was told by hotel staff hot water basin taps are only at 4 star hotels. I cannot believe this. The shower was only luke warm and maintenance confirmed that this was hot as they felt people would be burnt with hot water. There was no plug in the basin and they lent me one to have a shave. The rooms are very old and not clean at all. While there were some local people there I met 2 Malaysians who checked out on arrival to go elsewhere. The breakfast was pretty basic and lacked variety. Malaysians advised this is not value for money. If you are desperate then go but I cannot recommend this hotel at all." - Anonymous
"Nova hotel has superb location. The room is very small, even the two twin beds placed directly side by side, just like a queen size bed. The bed is not to comfort. The minus point is the TV which has very limited channel." - Benny Effendi
