I like Nova Hotel Kuala Lumpur, Because they provide me a very special price and fantastic room.
Had a pleasant stay there.. The rooms were okay but could need a little more maintenance.. They could also do with a new ironboard. We had a little hiccup during check in coz they initially prepared only 1 room instead of 2. And one of the employees weren't really polite when we brought up the matter. Arguing that we didn't state it in our reservations etc. But initially, it was solved..

Check in was tedious. 15mins to find the hotel key that they pre-programmed though it was right in front of them. No way for late checkout short of paying. Checkout after 1pm will be charged. Hotel room is basic, hot water shower is not the best. Clean, basic, functional. 12mins walk to monorail. 1 min walk to roadside stalls. Might be better if it was cheaper.
Located just inside the stretch of Jalan Bukit Bintang, u're near to everything u need. Shopping, food, services...u have it all. The hotel room was clean, we had the view of Bintang. Nice. Changkat Bukit Bintang is where u find all the pubs, clubs & restaurants. And right at yr door step, the famous Jalan Alor street food stalls. U'll never be hungry here. Chinatown is jus a stroll away. We found little indications of sleaze so no problem here, families stayed here too. Carpark is a little small so may have to request in advance. Taxis aplenty. To sum it up, value for money.
The aircond is not cold. The room smells like it's very old. But then, the location is superb. Just minutes walking to monorail station. Surrounded by many hawker food stalls and also shopping malls. Breakfast is moderately okay..
Bathroom leaking. Hot water erratic. Breakfast very average and limited variety of food. Plus is the very good location.
I am happy with all the services provided and as promised and would certainly recommend to friends.
It was a good stay. AC was not working great but otherwise things were fine. Services were pretty good. So I would recommend to others.
The hotel is average. For the price that I've paid for, it's not bad after all.Locationwise, quite convenient. It's about 10 minutes to the main shopping area and other attractions. The staff are friendly and helpful.
Nova hotel has superb location. The room is very small, even the two twin beds placed directly side by side, just like a queen size bed. The bed is not to comfort. The minus point is the TV which has very limited channel.
Frustrating wi-fi, but overall fine and recommended.
I stayed in Nova Hotel-deluxe room with an xtra bed. TYhe xtra bed was terrible, it was like they brought it in from the trash, it was made out of wood with a thin mattress on top. After i complained they put another mattress on top. Hotel is right in front of the Chinese hawker stand....the building in front of the hotel was really old and i didn't really like the smell of the food being cooked in the nite (hawker stands). However, the hotel is in an excellent location, 2min walk to Bukit bintand rd, which has excellent shopping. 10 ringet from the pudu bus station. 10min walk to the nearest train and monorail. The bed sheets were clean but it did have some stains on them, just very used. The breakfast was great....nice big rooms and house keeping is very prompt. I would stay in this hotel again because of the location.
The front desk was very helpful in giving information, they also had a cloak room facility where we could keep our luggage after check-out. Location of the hotel is very good…its in the heart of the city…and on a street filed with cafés, where u can enjoy the local delicacies. It’s just 2 min walking distance from Bukit Bintang plaza, the shopping hub in KL, known for electronics…its also quite close to PETRONAS tower (only 10 MYR away by taxi) …any part of the city is not more than 15 mins away from here. The monorail is easily accessible through the Bukit Bintang Plaza itself. Since the hotel does not have an airport transfer facility, its expensive to reach at night in a cab (about 90 MYR). During the day, the bus from the airport to KL Sentral and then the monorail to Bukit Bintang is much cheaper if you are ok with lugging your luggage around.
I had been staying in this hotel whenever I come to Kuala Lumpur since 6 years back and now I feel that their facilities are getting less maintained as compared to the past. Malfunctioning phone (although they got it fixed after repeated requests), water heater that do not really heat up water much and dirty thermal flask.
The room is with very basic facilities. Double rooms are spacious and the bed is big. The staff are very helpful.
I have been to kuala Lumpur for the first time and I have stay in Nova hotel for 5 days.I can say that it is well situated and very easy to have access to city centre. The staff is very sympathetic. I was very satisfy with the hotel and if ever I have to go to Kuala lumpur again, I will go to Nova Hotel.
Bad: There are stain markings on the chair cushion and the carpeted floor. The drainage pipe was leaking and I have got to place the dustbin below it to collect the water drips. One of the wall light bulbs was blown. Good: Good location, in between 2 mono-rail stations (ambil and butkit bintang); counter staff was friendly. Prices were good.
The place makes me and my wife really felt like home and the breakfast was superb.
Lots of cockroaches, no bath tub, bed is soft. Not many TV program, buffet breakfast is very simple, less than 10 items - including coffee and tea. Very conveniently located to Sungai Wang and the MRT station, walking distance to China Town - about 20 minutes of slow walk to reach.
Acceptable for a couple of nights only. Was thinking if they only could paint the dirty walls in the room it would be much better. Noisy ac. Lots of nice foodcourts outside. Breakfast nice and easy
