Getting there:Located on Franklin Street, Nova StarGate is easily accessible by car with secure undercover car parking available on site at a cost of $15.00 per day. Spencer Street railway station is 1 km and Melbourne Airport is 22 kms with a Sky Bus terminal at Spencer Street Station.
Check-in Procedure:Guest will be require credit card, which they have use at the time of booking for verification purpose. They will also need to leave the deposit of $100 or the imprint of $50 and must have Valid photo ID at the time of check-in. Payment must be made upfront for there accommodation.
Car parking:Secure undercover car parking is available on site for $15 per day for unlimited entries and exits. Please advise if you require car parking
Child Policy:Children under 12 yrs stay free in existing bedding.

The room was really clean and nice. I could not find a single strand of hair in the bathroom. Location was really good as it is very near to CBD. The poor reviews made me skeptical of making a reservation at this hotel. But after experiencing it myself, I TOTALLY recommend this hotel to all.

I stayed for 2 nights in a standard apartment with a double bed. The room was clean and tidy, the bed was comfortable, the linen fresh. The location was great - really close to the market and within easy walking distance to shops, cafes, parks, tram services. The staff on reception were really helpful.

The room was clean and of good size and the price was really good. I definitely will stay in this place again, as it is close to everything, including the victoria markets, the central train station, the tram station, car rentals and low cab fares to all the pubs and restaurants. The only low were the kitchen appliances, which were a bit dirty and stained, but if you eat out, it's all good!
Good location near Vic Market & train station. Parking $15 extra. We arrived earlier than usual check in time, room wasnt ready & we needed to check in as we were going out & would'nt be back till later that night. after asking, front desk was helpful & arranged for our room to be cleaned quickly. Was ready within half hour. Stayed in standard double room, had opening sliding door with small balcony to step out on to. Would stay here again.
As an apartment hotel, the rates are exceptional. Slept on the hardest bed that I have used, have slept on bare ground that is softer. Would stay again if necessary
Staff were friendly, location was a bit out. Hotel room was clean and comfortable however the smells in the corridoors and lifts were absolutely disgusting and unacceptable. I wouldnt pay much for this hotel, its not worth it

A great place to stay in Melbourne. Close to public transport and very up to date with facilities in the room. The ABC TV station was fuzzy, but Foxtel provided.
The room was very small, however, generally clean. On entry to the room, the hallway stank of garbage and ciggerettes which wass aweful having to walk in and out each day. I did complain about this, but feel as though nothing was done about it as it was persistant for the length of our stay. The other thing they didn't make clear was that parking was at an additional cost of $15 a night! If we had of known this we would hvae booked elsewhere where parking was included in the nightly rate. Staff were friendly. Overall I would not stay there again or recommend this hotel to anyone else.

Have stayed at these appartments before and have noticed a decline in the upkeep. The rooms were poorly serviced, air con did not function very well, tv reception was bad and fox was very restricted. Location was excellent for what we wanted, however there is now other accomodation in the area that I will be using in future
This is my third stay at the Nova Stargate. Compact apartment room but in a great location close to Queen Victoria Market, transport, a wide range of eating options and the city centre. Maybe the best value for money in Melbourne.
