Novotel Barossa Valley Resort Guest Reviews

4.2 out of 5

Fantastic presented hotel in an amazing location. Great facilities, if i was there longer i would have definately taken more advantage of the facilities. I have stayed before and is a truly great venue, highly recommended. The tanunda pines golf club right next door adds to the appeal in my book. If one negative the rooms can be quite noisy, we heard everyone either leaving for breakfast or leaving in general as if they were in our room.. All in all i would rate 4 out of 5.

This stay, albeit short, lived up to our past very satisfying experiences. Accommodation and facilities were excellent; the complimentary in house wine tasting is always a bonus; only critical feedback was our experience with dinner at Harry's restaurant left us underwhelmed due to incorrrect cooking of our steaks (medium was presented as medium rare and medium rare was presented as rare (and tough)

Superb location surrounded by vineyards and well off the main road. Great views and very quiet. Only negative comment was our room service dinner which arrived in a cardboard box. We did have plates in our room but it was just a bit strange when it cost us $A32 each and we had to dish up ourselves.

Excellent customer service, very nice and clean facilities, beautiful views and the restaurant was great (great food and wine and the service was exceptional). I wish I had've known in advance that they had massage facilities (Endota Spa) so that I could've booked that in advance as they had no vacancy when we were there. Never mind, I'll know for next time!

Superb views and comfortable accommodation but didn't quite "get there" in quality of food or service.

An excellent hotel. The deluxe spa room had a kitchenette and size was great! Views from every room are spectacular. Day spa was good and having breakfast included in the room rate made this value for money. For a romantic babymoon getaway this was perfect. We would definitely stay again.

resort is great for the summer months. Great pool and views. Room is modern and tidy. Service at reception was lazy and not up to scratch, few more smiles would be nice.

The hotel was brilliant, with great views. My only recommendation is that the day spa hours be extended into the evenings.

the exterior of the hotel looked a bit moldy.. the rooms were fine. The kitchenettes could have been more supplied. There was no coffee press. Fantastic view; great location.

Very nice accommodation. My only complaint was that the pillows are too soft and it isnt that quiet in the mornings with the cleaners moving around. Apart from that an enjoyable stay!

This was a superb hotel. We attended a conference and the dinner, breakfast and lunch were all delicious, hot and interesting. Quiet, and lovely views of the hills and vines.

we got a good deal on this room and the views etc are fantastic. However if we had to pay the fullprice of the room we would not be staying there. For a 5 star resort in the Barossa you would at least expect the premises to have a nice spa, maybe include breakfast but none of these two were included. The hotel has so much potential and not being used.

Stayed in a studio room with kitchenette. Crockery, cutlery supplies inadequate, only 1 dinner plate, no bowls etc for salad. Some service and attentiveness issues that were disappointing eg requested additional plate which never arrived, room key issues, lack of follow up between staff. Stayed before and had no problems previously, maybe lots of new inexperienced staff?
