Getting there:- If arriving by tram: Take tram No. 96 from any stop along Bourke Street in Melbourne's CBD. The trip takes approximately 10 minutes and tram stop right at the front of the hotel - If arriving by taxi (from the airport): Cab will cost $45-55 depending on traffic - Airport Bus (Bayside Suburbs) from the airport to the hotel door. Timetables can be found on www.fapas.com.au or ring 03 9783 1199. Cost is $30 return to Novotel Melbourne St Kilda. Bookings are recommended - SkyBus from the airport to Southern Cross Station, Melbourne CBD this will cost $15 per person one way, or $24 return. The SkyBus courtesy shuttle does not travel to St Kilda so you will need to make your own way from the CBD.
Check-in Procedure:Check in from 14.00. Upon check-in an imprint of your credit card and photo ID (such as drivers licence or passport) will be taken to guarantee against any incidentals. Please note, Reception staff are available 24 hours a day.
Car parking:Ample off-street, secure parking available at a rate of $15 per car, per day. Unlimited entry/exit. Note: as at 1st January 2012 car parking will cost $20 per car, per day.

As usual for Novatel very comfortable, but this would have to be the smallest room we have had with Novatel. The room was clean and quiet, nice big thick towels and good quality tea & coffee etc. Would stay again.

My husband attended the conference held at the Hotel and he thoroughly enjoyed his stay. Top class hotel. The room was superb and very relaxing. Thank you.
We recently stayed at The Novatel as a family from Perth and I couldn't speak more highly of this Hotel. The rooms were lovely, clean and very comfortable, the food in the restaurant was amazing and the staff throughout the hotel were the nicest, friendliest staff I have come across in my travels. I would definitely stay here again. Thanks for making our stay a happy one.
The room was very clean & the bed was very comfortable, although once l changed my pillow l had a better sleep.The size of our bay view room was fine-a great view,although the toilet space was small & the staff were excellent.The taxi service was great & even after dining at Sails on the bay restaurant in Elwood(beautiful)the taxi arrived very quickly.The St.Kilda market on sundays was lovely. Will definately stay here again,it was quiet & a great location.

Expected more from the Novotel/Accor brand. Room and bathroom/toilet facilities were particularly small and very stuffy. Decor underwhelming.
The location is first class and although the hotel is getting a little old, I would have no hesitation in recommending it and we will certainly return within the next 12 months,

The location was perfect for us. Tram stop is right out the front door. The room was very small but it was all we needed. I felt that the reception staff seemed unorganised but were very helpful. All in all I would definately stay again.
Our stay was fine although we upgraded from a Standard Room the second that we saw how incredibly small it was. Think cupboard. For $10 more per night you get more than double the space.
Stayed two nights on business, staff were very friendly and helpful. Room service menu doesn't offer too many options but food is superb. Will stay here again.
I love this hotel location, the staff are very pleasant, check in and out is fast and efficient! The beds are very comfortable, you cant really fault this hotel, id stay again for sure!
